Yummy treat for my dog
My dog loved the flavour so much. She definitely enjoyed the ice cream. Very easy instructions to follow. It wasnt thicker than I thought it would be. But enough thickness for dogs to eat/lick. Consider to buy more in summer.

Very Impressed ! Couldn't be happier, best treat around!
Mmm Mmm BACON! !It was my little fellas birthday and I wanted to get him something nice, special and Awesome for him to eat on his big day. He is a 4lb 3 year old chihuahua with a sensitive tummy. We are very restricted on what we can give him due to his sensitive tummy so I was VERY excited to see a doggy ice cream with simple ingredients that we knew wouldn't hurt his stomach.Ingredient list:Whole Milk (Lactose Free)Evaporated Cane JuiceGelatinNatural Maple bacon flavorSaltGuaranteed Analysis:Crude Protein (minimum 21.3%Crude Fat (minimum) 13.5%Crude Fiber (maximum) 1.9%Moisture (Maximum) 3.5%**(As listed on the container. I wanted to add this as I know it is VERY important for owners to know EXACTLY what their dog is eating. I only add these ingredients so owners can know what is listed to be in this product. I try to be as helpful as possible because I find it very important to know what your pets are eating) I can also add that I am very happy with the little ingredients in this ice-cream treat. So happy with the ingredients that I would feel confident trying this product myself.**I wouldn't call my little guy a picky eater but he has a "Selective Palate" (Hehe) Once he had his first taste of this ice cream he was jumping for joy and for more of course, needless to say he LOVED it.Recommended Amounts:Small dogs: 1 scoopMedium dogs: 1-2 scoopsLarge dogs: Half the pintDogs that resemble small ponies: Whole Pint-*Please follow these instructions, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing*-It came in the mail as a powdered form and it has instructions on how to turn it into Ice-cream.-Instructions on how to make itStep 1. Open pouch and dump powder into the pintStep 2. Add 2/3 cup of hot tap water to the powderStep 3. Gently stir until blended wellStep 4. Put on lid and set in freezer for 5 hours so ice cream can freeze.Optional step 5. (I recommend ) Taking it out of the freezer 10-15mins before use, so that the ice cream can soften a bit for your pet!Additional Thoughts:Net WT listed 171.1g (6oz)This Product is MADE in the USA.Grain FREEIf this review was helpful to you, please whack the helpful button. A big hit- and tastes like maple bacon 🍁
The media could not be loaded. This puppy ice cream was really easy to make, and the suggestion to leave it out of the freezer for a few minutes made it easy to scoop out. My basset hounds almost knock me down whenever they see the container. Also, I've been informed that the maple bacon flavor is true by my family members who don't read carefully in the middle of the night. (Lol - families with midnight snackers may want to put a warning note on the label, bc it's roughly the size of the other premium ice cream I buy. Bonus is that they didn't steal my best chocolate chunk ice cream because the snootful of bacon flavor turned them off. Wins all around!!!) 😄[Video is a little long, but it shows how my bassets ~ a notoriously food-obsessed, "stubborn" breed ~ waited through the indignity of a birthday hat and a whole rendition of happy birthday because they love the ice cream and pup-pie so much.]

Dogs loved it, a little pricey for what you get
Instead of baking a cake for my dogs' birthdays this year I decided to get them this to share. It was easy to make (just mix the powder with hot water and freeze) and seemed to have a good texture when I was spooning it out. I can't speak to the flavor personally, but my dogs seemed to enjoy it. I split the ice cream into four portions, one portion given at the morning and night feedings for both dogs. I was a little concerned about stomach and digestive issues with something like this (even though it says it's formulated to not cause that), but thankfully I didn't have to worry. I didn't notice any change in the dogs' digestive habits after consuming. I would buy this as a treat for them more often, but it's quite expensive for what you get. I'm going to look up some homemade recipes and see what I can come up with. I will purchase again and would recommend to other dog owners!
