I very seldom take time to write a review.I recently purchased this case two weeks ago, but received the droid turbo, NOT the turbo 2,,way bad fit, but the case impressed me. Returning that item would give me a credit of 49 cents ??So I just went back on Amazon and added this Turbo 2 case to my newest not yet shipped order.The Turbo 2 case arrive almost immediately..This is such an excellent fit that I caught belly hair between the phone and the case,when I had to use a little extra force to insert the phone into the case. It even pulled the hair out,,, ya that is funny, I am not a very funny old man.So now review of the case.. VERY trim, very tight, very strong, very light, very excellent.Terrific price, Verizon sold me a very gentle soft rubber cover for $20, I may not use that much anymore.Amazon has given me service and quality, I even now finally accepted Prime and view the videos often.Alpha House is a favorite,, liberal ,, yaaah in a conservative satire setting.. Aloha JohnOh I must add, after the first night of charging, the new case does not allow the verizon wireless charging stand to charge my phone.after two days my phone had fallen to 12% battery, I found my original wired charger for my old droid, and back in charging mode.The case is still great, nothing broken, very difficut to remove the phone from the snap on case, no problem removing the phone & case from theClikLock Belt Clip Holster. still 5 stars. RECOMMEND forget the verizon rubber case $20,,forget the verizon wireless charger $60.. save money.

This is a review for the Droid Turbo 2 case.Overall: This case is difficult to beat for the value - a low profile, nice fitting, smooth working case with a rear stand and a holster/belt clip for $10. There is always something to complain about in life, but this case at this price is a good deal.Pros: 1. It has a low profile and a nice understated look as opposed to most bulky cases currently available for the Turbo 2. 2. It slides in and out of the holster perfectly, nice and smooth. 3. Everything feels secure although I haven't dropped it any significant distance. 4. A great value for the price, really.Cons: I'm being very picky here - at this price I don't feel justified in pointing out shortcomings, but here they are. 1. The back stand on the phone articulates at an angle that doesn't quite hold the phone up in the vertical position (it's a bit top heavy); however, it works great in the horizontal position, and the holster clip also has a very functional built in stand. 2. The back side of the case is a little more slippery than my previous cases - I've noticed it slides around a little more even though there is a nice texture to it. 3. I have some trouble pressing the volume and power buttons, but that could be related to my fingers or the case or a combination of both.To repeat, this is a great buy for a Droid Turbo 2 case and I've already bought a backup for when I inevitably crawl up under a house, catch it on my toolbox and rip it off the belt clip.I'll post again about durability once I've used it for a few months.

Nice case that is very similar to the Verizon OEM case that looks very similar. The phone itself is vary heavy so any amount of motion will knock the phone off its built in stand but its a decent enough trade off for the fact that the case is very thin and form fitting and works well with the phone. Be aware that with this case (as with all other belt clip models like this) the bottom and top of the phone are exposed when not in the belt clip. This could result in phone damage if the phone is dropped when outside of the belt clip. This is by design and allows the phone to enter/exit the clip more efficiently.

This holster case by Encased is exactly what I wanted! It is exactly as described and pictured. It is light weight, feels good in the hand and fits my new Droid Turbo 2 perfectly. The phone slides out of the holster smoothly and fits snugly. I bought the one pictured here:  Motorola DROID TURBO 2 Combo Case w/ ClikLock Belt Clip Holster for Verizon XT1585 (By Encased) The quality of this Encased product is far superior than the standard Verizon OEM holster case that I originally bought (at almost three times the price) from the official Verizon store when I got my phone. I had to return the Verizon one because the phone would not slide out of the holster. I actually think the Verizon OEM version is defective in design or manufacturing as we tried two and they both had the same problem. I thought it might loosen up with use, but nope. The Verizon salesman even had trouble with it.It's all in the details and the Encased holster case is a quality product at a great price.

It fits the phone very tightly and has that 'not exactly smooth but silky feeling' plastic has gotten these days that will help with grip. The edge goes past the screen which should protect the screen, just as advertised. It also adds very little bulk to the phone so it'll still go in and out of my pocket easily enough without feeling like I have a brick in my pocket. The stand is pretty handy too but mainly for sideways video watching. Both parts feel very solid and well made including the belt clip.Two very minor negatives and they might not be negatives to you and don't rate negatively enough to me to change my feeling about it:You definitely can't operate the phone with the stand in the vertical position b/c phone is just too darn tall. Works for display well tho. Also, I use a magnet-based vehicle holder which isn't quite strong enough to hold the phone with the case on it but taking it off and on is far too difficult to do quickly/easily.
