We don't have toilet in home. Have to go little bit away from home. In viral fever person become weak and can't walk that much. So I am using this as a portable Toilet. I keep this in our bathroom. Then my mother use it. I can't say weither this pot is suitable for bedridden old age pataiants. Overall material looks good and sturdy.

Very very bad design. Unusable for bed ridden people with back pain. Handle on the wrong side, and too high. Couldn't use it even one time and hard to return. Be careful before purchasing this item.
