Perfect waterproof protection
I was to have surgery on my foot that required not getting it wet for 2 weeks. Needless to say, that is a long time not to shower!! lol. I ordered this protective cover for my leg to be prepared. When I used it the first time I was a little apprehensive because I wasn't sure anything could be that waterproof. I was pleasantly surprised and pleased at how well this product worked. It is made of high quality plastic that keeps everything inside dry. Even though it is a universal size, it fit well. It has slip resistant protection on the bottom so you don't slide in the shower. It secures tightly around your leg so no water leaks through the opening. I ordered the full leg protection even though I only needed just above the ankle. It is one of the best purchases I made to help with my recovery. It is a great value and does an excellent job.

A Must-Have for Anyone Living with a Lower Leg Cast!
I’m 5’11”, 180 pounds, and I’m a doctor myself.I fractured my ankle while hiking and my orthopedic surgeon put me in a fiberglass cast for the next 4 to 6 weeks. Told me to keep it dry. Easy for him to say. No amount of plastic wrap, duct tape, or giant Ziploc bags would keep water out in the shower. After a week of awkward sponge baths and feeling like I could never fully get clean, this cast cover was a total game-changer.It fits perfectly over my bulky lower leg cast thanks to the snug, stretchy rubber gasket at the top, which seals securely without cutting off circulation. The attached thick plastic sleeve is durable, completely waterproof, and roomy enough to comfortably fit over the entire cast and lower leg.I finally took a long, hot shower—without fear of getting my cast wet—and it felt amazing. The cover stayed completely in place, didn’t leak a drop, and gave me the freedom and relief I didn’t realize I’d been missing so much. It’s well-designed, easy to use, and incredibly effective. If you’re stuck living with a cast for any length of time, don’t hesitate—this product is a must-have. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Yes, itreally works and it’s so easy!
Yes, it really is worth it! I had bunion surgery, and needed to shower but had a splint/cast on my leg thatneeded to stay dry. I found a video on you tube with instructions on how to make your own, but after I had gathered up all the various things needed, I realized it was gonna be a miracle if it worked, and a big pain in the you-know-what. I had seen a person whohad used one of these, specifically this one, TKWC INC, and decided to try it. It is very well made, feels sturdy, and the gasket is 100% waterproof. I could have gotten it on by myself but I had my boyfriend help. Super glad I got it.

Completely waterproof
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I liked the soft waterproof band around the top. It looked like it would be more comfortable than some others I saw. And it’s proved to be well worth it! I can totally get into the shower and the cast is completely protected and I have no fear of my cast getting wet!Highly recommend!

Works great but use as instructed
I will start off by saying this, read the directions and follow the directions. This product is not designed to be submerged underwater. It is designed for the shower and in that respect I feel that it works.I’ve used it half a dozen times, and it has kept the area bone dry.A couple of things you should probably be aware of. This product in my opinion is designed for below the calf. Not mid calf, and not top of the calf, but below the calf. Basically, anything a few inches or more above the ankle, and you’ll be rolling the dice. Secondly, I wear a men’s 10 shoe size. My foot barely fits in the foot portion. So I would say anything larger than a 10 and your toes are going to be crammed right up against the front. The plastic is a pretty durable and strong gauge of plastic, and I really cannot see being able to tear through it from just normal use. You still need to be careful when using the product as you will slide around a little bit from it. But not as much as I thought I would. During the use, it gets heavy and it feels like it’s filling up with water, but it is not. It’s just the water that is accumulating on top. My only design recommendation would’ve been to come up with a way for the water to drain off the top. But other than that, I have no criticisms. You should still try to keep it out from the direct line of the shower water as much as you can. But I think it can certainly handle a “normal “shower.I would highly recommend this and if used according to the directions, it should serve you well. It is certainly leagues better than the old days where you just put a garbage bag over it and hope for the best.

Spacious, comfortable, reliable.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wanted something that was going to be long lasting.Durability: The plastic covering has a thick protection layer that doesn’t not make you feel as though you will have issues with water coming through. The bottom of the foot also has a grip layer on the bottom to prevent you from falling. This product is way better than the one I used before.

Keeps cast/bandages completely dry!!!
After foot surgery I needed a way to shower. Purchased this in a large because my bandages were bulky. I didn't think it would work because the rubber part around my leg wasn't super tight. Finally tried it and it worked. I was able to sit down with my leg in the shower and keep bandages completely dry.

Worked like a charm!
It's an unexpected pleasure when you buy something and it actually lives up to its hype. I had foot surgery four days ago, and this half leg condom worked really well. I did not have a cast, just dressings, and it was easy to get on and off. I was a little concerned that the opening seems so small, maybe 2+ inches, but it is quite flexible and had no problem getting over my dressings and heal. In one of the videos online it showed the person stretching the gasket over the hard rim of the top ring. I was glad I didn't have to do that, because I didn't know if there would be enough stretch, and it might even take more than two hands to pull that off. But overall, the designed and build quality seems really good. I would recommend it.
