not sure it works
I bought this to help me cycle a new 10 gallon tank. it is supposed to be gel balls filled with bacteria to help jumpstart the biological filtration in my tank. as it describes, they are supposed to dissolve over time.... have now had these in my mesh filter bag with lava rock for about 4 months now, almost all of them are still in the bag not dissolved at all. seems like a gimmick to me.
