NuBellsPT Dumbells

I have a Teeter Thunderbell and all four DVD workouts. My wife and son were so impressed with the workout they wanted to join me. I also use kettle bell workouts with my thunderbell. but the thunderbell comes in one weight 10 lbs. My wife who suffered from tunnel tunnel carpal needed something lighter weight, and my son is young so they both needed something lighter weight. My son doesn't have the coordination for a kettle bell so the risks were too great. Solution, the NuBell.This size new bell is the perfect solution for using this for cardio boxing, tae bo, kettle bell or thunderbell workouts; and is far far safer. I am now saving my money for the heavier weighted NuBells for myself. The only con with this particular 3 lb size is the hand grip is too small for a mans hand. This size can only be used for by women and kids. Too bad. they are missing a market for weighted boxing cardio workouts.If you research this product by going to youtube, their website and research awards, this product is winning the awards right and left because it seriously helps people work out with out incurring or furthering existing injuries in the wrist.My only con for the heavier weight NuBells is the cost. I can see cashing in on the design, but they remind me of that guy who bought the pharmaceutical company and jacked the price 4,000%. The current price point is 30% too high in Feb. 2016. Even at a 30% price reduction, the product is still premium priced. So today's pricing is intellectually disrespectful.

I love doing body pump by Les Mill. The Les Mill equipment can be quite costly and I do have a barbell set from them (5 yrs old). Noticed they have newer plates that look so much more comfortable to hold but I really do not want to pay that much to get them. Was looking around for alternatives and stumbled upon these.Love the fact you can get 4 pounds and 3 pound weights as i am pretty sure i will make the most of them during the bicep and tricep sessions with Les Mill. I don't see myself using the 1 pound or 2 pound weights as it is too light for me. Perhaps someone that has weak wrist might find them adaquate.I do agree with another review that if you are a man with large hands they might be too small for you. This should be okay for most women.Wish NubellsPT had option for 6 pound weights in this design/style...Otherwise a well worth purchased based on the price ad great addtion to my les mill work out equipment.

These weights are a bit uncomfortable to use. The plastic handle tends to get quite slippery if you are working up a sweat.Also, with all the other types of non-traditional weights that can be adjusted in total weight, this may not be the best option, as have individual weight total dumbbells are really only required when you have old technology metal weights. These could have easily been made to be the select-a-weight types.The good points for these are that they are well made, are almost exactly the weight they claim (according to my scale) and they store easy.Overall, I probably would not buy these again, but I am not unhappy I own them. If you get a good price, it may be worth buying if you will only need lighter weighted dumbbells.

I have a lot of weights - hand weights for walking but was looking for something that was more comfortable - and I think I found them! These are not for MEN - only for women or teens/children as the opening is not very large. But the way it's designed distributes the weight that makes it easier and more comfortable to grip and stay gripped on a 1 hour walk/hike. I purchased the 4 lbs and it was perfect - enough to feel it but not enough to be cumbersome on the walk. They also stand out :) which I like - I like the color orange- and could be used as a weapon as needed - if you are out walking alone and need some back up!!! I will be dropping my traditional hand weights and carrying these from now on!The seller got these to me in just a few days - and I am looking forward to sunnier days so I can get out walking with these!

I really don't understand why anyone would rate this less than 5 stars. The reason why I purchased this was because I used it at my gym for cycling and now bought it for my home to use on my indoor Amd more exercises. One morning I woke up and saw my boyfriend using them for static exercises. Even he agreed these are genius!'

Best thing about them is that they don't cause any injuries to the wrist!I just wish they make a bit heavier weights tooGood concept!
