No more arch pain with no added tightness
Got these today and did extensive walking. I have severe arch pain in my right foot, where it feels like the plantar fascia wants to tear in the middle of my arch. I have flat feet. This problem flared up a month ago when I started wearing Vans Slip-ons. Super comfy shoes, but no support for my arches. The issue is as a slip-on, I sized the shoes specifically to be comfortable with socks. I tried a 3/4 length orthotic that was supportive, but made the shoes extremely tight. I tried the Balance on just my right foot, and not only did my shoe fit the same as normal, but now my arch pain was gone.It feels like it's adjusting the way my foot pivots, and I can feel the insert filling my instep. I walked around for the first time in a month without having to shift my weight to limit pain. I did not use the adhesive, as I have to use this with many different pairs of Vans Slip-ons. Fortunately, they're all sized the same, so this should work flawlessly in all of them. Installation is easy. There is a diagram on the packaging showing the left insert installed in a left shoe. You can align the insert visibly that way, then put the shoe on and let your arch find the perfect spot. If you don't use the adhesive, it will slide into position and stay there if the shoe is fit to size. No extra tightness for me. I am very pleased.I only had this one day. I will try using both sides just as a preventive measure. My only concern is durability. The leather might peel or wear, but I hope the hard rubber that constitutes much of the arch support retains its shape over time. If so, I'll buy a few more for reserves and never worry about having to use my running shoes anytime long walks are involved.

The BEST product for flat feet!
AWESOME. I have really flat feet (not low, FLAT) and if you are like me, you've tried all sorts of arch supports/insoles. The problem with 90% of insoles, is that they are way too narrow, the arches collapse after some time, and can't be adjusted and end up causing blisters and more problems than if you had never got them. These wedge inserts are the best thing ever for flat feet, as they cost less than insoles and can use them a variety of different shoes (even sandals!). I'm a runner and use them in my running shoes. They are made of rubber and leather, so they won't lose their shape or support. The arch height is spread out and perfect for flat feet (a lot of wedge insert companies automatically assume you need a ridiculously high arch, which can be more painful than no arch sometimes). You DO have to adjust and test the position to your liking, so take some time to do that, as it is important where the support is, in relation to where you need it. Once its in a good position, use a marker or hold it in place and apply superglue (I used gorilla glue) for better/permanent adhesion than the sticker that came with it. This way, you have that piece of mind that they'll stay in place. Put the time in and get them positioned right, its worth the time.

They're junk and I'll tell you why
After wearing these for about 2 months the glue failed and left sticky GUNK all over the inside of my shoes.Beyond that they do not support arches very well and I think one of them shifted toward the front of my shoe (see failed glue above) which eventually helped to give me a sore foot that I've been nursing for a week now.If you need low-profile arch supports that actually support and don't move around or leave glue residue then look at Spenco or Superfeet. Both brands offer low-profile models that will fit in dress shoes.I knew I should have just thrown these inserts away when the little wax paper they put over the glue to make it not stick to everything in shipping actually pulled the glue off the arch support on one of the pairs I ordered (I ordered several!) . They couldn't even get that part right. I own shoe glue and could have properly put these into my shoes with that, but - they don't support enough. They're not good even arch support. They don't address all the issues that people with flat feet have. If your foot pronates you can't just slap a stupid cheap arch under it and call it a day. What was I even thinking? I probably deserve my sore foot. :-/Never again though.. It'll be Spenco or Superfeet for me. I don't care what they cost.

Best arch support for naturally low arches
I have a naturally low arches and suffer from bunions because of that. (And no, it's not because of bad footwear or lack of barefoot walking, but actually determined by a orthopedist.)Unfortunately typical arch supports are designed to support and relieve stress for very high arches. This results in a lot of pressure and feels very unnatural while walking. Pedag Balance on the other hand provides a just enough of support (rigidity) and guidance (shape) to prevent my feet from over pronating or over extending too. Especially great when wearing dress shoes, because unlike other arch supports, I still can use shoe trees!Be mindful that these are positioned a bit differently than symmetrical arch supports.

Passt gut
Entlastet etwas, aber leider keine Klebefuktion. Vollkommen ausgetrocknet der Kleber. Schade.

Difference bw this and the three-pack Pedaqs
When ordering my arch supports I wasn't able to see what the difference (if any) was between this and the three-pack version. I ordered both.Once they arrived, I could see that: the single one was labeled "Balance" and the three-pack ones are labelled "Step". The difference between the two is the height of the wedge. The Step is the higher one of the two, the Balance is considerably lower. For support in flat soled shoes I would re-order the Step, or three-pack. The Balance will bump up shoes with low arch supports. The density seemed the same in both, ie the compress-ability..
