Kyocera Torque Flop
A $150 flop. It now requires an encrypted storage password. I've tried doing all the resets, etc to no avail. It conveniently pulled this trick 1 day past being able to return it. Steer clear of this thing.

Have owned five of these, most recent locked up asking for non-existent "decryption" password. Apparently this is more common than it should be. Will purchase another with fingers crossed. We use PTT feature extensively (Sprint) and PTT can get "mushy" and unusable after a while.

all the features are the same as the original Torque" This is like the cars with faulty parts
Bottom line this phone has the exact same specs as the phone they released in the spring of 2013. The XT was added to show it has more internal memory. Something I had called to complain about multiple times as a flaw in the phone.THIS IS NOT A NEW PHONE as they say "Next Generation"Because its design, and components are identical to the one they released in 2013 I argue its not at they say "cutting edge", and contrary to sprint marketing, it does "under perform" on the software side. To quote a customer service/tech rep when I called in August 2014 "you bought a basic low end phone". I bought a mil spec phone. A phone which you now say does not skimp on software performance. -- Why just 3 months before this phone was released did they call these components "basic low end" are they now calling them "not skimp[ing]"This is a two year old phone "Otherwise, all the features are the same as the original Torque"I have made multiple complaints about the performance of the TorqueIf you want A new phone/"Next Generation" go for the Kyocera brigadierThis is just a pacifier fixing an old product until they can offer the newer brigadier or similar on sprint.-- Why does this phone get two stars and not one? It is a mil-spec phone. It is durable, and can be dropped, wet, and sat on without a case. The other plus, because it does not need a bulky case, it can fit in my shirt pocket.

This phone does not work well. It is not very sensitive to touch. The set up is very unorganized. Messages are also hard to follow and not organized well. Everything is hard to do with this phone.
