I bought this for my 11 year old daughter to use for school they go eat outside on pretty days she is very tall for her age 5’6 so its a good size for her and a couple of friends to comfortably eat lunch on , its on thin side but its not thin like a tapestry but not super thick like a blanket so it rolls up compact enough to fit in her school bag without taking up a lot of room ( i use a mid size zip lock bag throw on top of her books in book bag ) it seems like it would work as well as any normal beach towel for drying ( not like bath towel but the quick dry typical beach towel) the colors are beautiful and the fringe adds to the mandala design it has a fade in color design( i rather it be bold colors no fade as my lack of laundry skills will do this in no time with no help from a manufacturer but if looking for that vintage worn look well here ya go) Pictures included taken on a love seat for size comparison

This towel is very cute and great for the beach. It is fairly large and not too thin. I gave it to a friend as a gift and she loved it.
