Genelec G Five Active Speaker - Black

These speakers are Amazing! I'm using them as L&R for my HT along with Marantz AV8802/B&W DB1. I plan to buy 4&5" versions for surround, back and height speakers (for reference, I've had many high end brand speakers/amps - Revel F52/Salons, Levinson ML436's, Dynaudio, Denon, B&W, etc.). These sound absolutely fantastic with very nice highs, great bass and dynamics. Sound is clean & pure without fatigue nor harshness. Build and finish is very good - quality craftsmanship. They're also "WAY" easier to setup, place, move and live with versus the other speakers/amps. I usually don't leave feedback for my purchases, but these are just great speakers at a fair price! Very rare qualities/attributes in higher end audio/home theater. I also spoke with Genelec Customer Service when I ordered them - they were Fantastic! - responsive, polite, prompt shipping and arrived in good condition. Looking forward to getting more Genelecs (maybe even trying some of their professional 8351s later down the road. Thanks, Mike

I have the model just below this in the studio monitor line, 8040. Not cheap, but at least as good as KEF, etc. in the same price range. And the amps are built in. There is a reason the pros favor Genelec.
