Clip too small for puppia & ruffwear harnesses
I sadly was not able to use this leash as the clip was too small and weak to accommodate my dogs harness. He is a 10lb italian greyhound puppy and wears a puppia soft vest harness in medium and ruffwear front range in xxs. The clip is too small for the hardware on either. The leash is also much too long for us. My first time making the mistake of not looking closely enough at length and whether or not the handle is included in that measurement. Looked like the photo and was cute. Probably good for a toy breed, cat(?) Or someone that uses a collar with tiny hardware. Too bad-- wanted to love it!

Works well for my 9# Min Pin
Since the small is for 25# and under, wasn't sure it would not be too stiff or heavy for a 9#. Thanks to some of the reviewers who answered my questions, decided to give this a try.My dog with the old step in harness lunges at other animals he deemed unauthorized so he ends up choking himself at times and his hacking was taking longer and longer to recover. =( We switched to a choke free harness but occasionally he still manage to pull too sudden/too hard. This leash isn't too big/heavy for him and so far the bungee does work well with the X Frame harness for him. I also think the leash makes the walks more gentle for him in general - he is a busy body. I can not speak to durability since we only have it 2 weeks, but for his health, if I need to buy one each year, would gladly do so, but hope it will be durable as it seems to be well made and has thoughtful features. My husband noticed the padded inside of the handle right away and the accessory D-ring can come in handy without adding a lot of bulk/weight. The grab handle is too low for us to use though since our 9# is pretty low to the ground but that's not something we need since he is small/holding tight on to the leash is not difficult even when he pulls.

Good leash, with couple flaws.
This review is based on the lite version. It's ce, lightweight leash with a bit of bungee at the end.Cons:Reflective stripe is only on one side.Traffic grip is a piece of rubber that's stuck on the leash. If your dog is short, or if you're a tall person, it'd be very hard to make use of it.The leash would be a lot better if those mentioned were fixed. And instead of a piece of rubber, make the leash length adjustable with a buckle. Thanks Ezydog for making a lite version of the leash. Most of their gear is aimed for big dogs. Need more small dog-oriented sporty accessories.EDIT 4/2/2018:Bumping up to 4 stars from 3. Leash still has its flaws but the bungee and the fact that it's pretty lightweight makes it my favourite leash to use. Not quite 5 yet as I've witnessed the clasp opening up when my dog rolled around on the grass. Thank goodness for beef jerky to lure him back before he realised he was off-leash! This happened when leash was used with the EzyDog Quick Fit harness, which has the latch up on the back.

Best Leash for dogs.
I have bought more of those rewind leashes(that stop rewinding) than you’ll ever know an this one beats them all. Instead of holding the plastic case, winding it in and out, trying to hook it on my purse or cart to keep my puppy near me I just rap it around my hands and it becomes more versatile. Also I am known to drop the rewind leash and it scares my puppy and if she moves I’m left trying to grab it. This leash operates better than a regular leash in that it gives you the feel of a rewind because of the part that it elastic. Hope this helps.

My favorite bungee leash of many
I've tried many of these types of leashes and this one is perfect for a smaller dog; under 25 pounds and IF they are not a bolter. Works perfect for my calm dog who just sniffs and walks outside, maybe not thick enough for my stronger squirrel fanatic dog especially if he lurches at things? Time will tell, but its my favorite so far after trying many on the market. Both dogs pull occasionally and my neck/spine as well as theirs seem to not get as injured, or as frequently, thanks to the give/flexibility in the bungee design. Love the colors, and lightness and length (can loop it for less distance, or extend for more). Mostly I love that I don't panic when they do something that on some leashes would hurt them for weeks or months later.

Horrible leash after a few months. Bungee lost elasticity!
See picture. The leash at the hand Mark is in pretty good shape but the bungee portion is horrible. Material frayed and bungee lost all its elasticity. No 8lb dog should be able to do that to a quality product. I bought a different brand and it’s 10x better. My dog will not be able to pull the elasticity out like this leash. Horrible product. Don’t waste your money. It looks great new and for a few walks but after it’s a mess.

Great Leash for a super small dog
I really do like this leash. I never realized the need for a bungee leash until I got one. My dog spontaneously leaps and pulls at birds. This leash absorbs the shock. It has helped correcting the bad behavior. My dog is a 17-19 lb. Shiba Inu mix. The clip on the leash seems very small and I do fear that it will snap off. If it had the larger clip than it would be the perfect leash. If your looking for a great harness, than get the EzyDog harness is worth every penny.(It's pretty pricey) I already had the EzyDog harness that I bought at a local pet store. All the other small harness' were too small and the medium harness' were too big. The Ezydog small harness actually can be expanded over the chest, so it was perfect. It's true to it's name, easy.

Helps reduce pulling and easy on your hand
This is our 2nd Zero shock leash and we love them. Our mini Aussie is a puller and we tried many things - different harnesses and leashes - to correct her until we found this leash in a lovely pet shop in Blue Ridge last summer. The leash gives her that bit of rebound to warn her that she needs to back off which she does unless a squirrel is in her path. The leash is gentle on your hand, too. The 2nd leash we purchased is for our smaller Aussie who is a great walker on leash but we just like the feel of the leash in our hand and the way we’re able to control the dogs. The only thing I would like would be a bit smaller weight in this leash for a smaller dog but it works fine with ours who are 18 and 24 pounds.
