Best curves ever
Absolutely love these curves. I use constantly. Comfortable, very very sharp, and the perferated edges make a massive difference in how clean the cut is. I will definitely be ordering more of this brand. Great investment for any groomer- it is worth the money and will outlast and outperform cheaper brands by a long shot.

Quite excellent scissors with one caveat.
These are beautifully made and cut very well. I have three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels with relatively fine coats. One boy's coat is unbelievably thick and, during summer months when stickers abound, it becomes quite tedious on my end, and painful on his, to comb out his coat. Last summer he got an abscess on his flank from a foxtail. If you don't have this grass in your area, be thankful. The seeds are like velcro arrows that can only travel in one direction. If they get in noses, ears, or, as in this case the coat, they just keep moving forward until they thrust their needle-sharp points into the dog's flesh.I took him to one vet and got a quote of $3000 to do all kinds of tests and exploratory surgery, the vet warning me that if the foxtail entered his chest cavity it could penetrate internal organs, even his lungs so we really should dig around and find it. I thanked the vet and determined to use another vet who had taken good care of my favorite bitch when she developed mammarian cancer. He was shocked at the estimate of vet #1 and suggested we just insert a stint and drain the wound for a few days before assuming surgery would be necessary. We did this and he recovered just fine for a still painful $950, but less painful than vet #1.I digressed, didn't I. Sorry. Back to the scissors. Vet #1 did suggest that I clip the boy "...like a lion..." so I ordered up these scissors and followed her advice. They did the job beautifully, allowing very precise clipping. Note that the tips are very pointed so care is requisite when clipping. The single caveat and the reason for docking one star is the bumper between the handles. It's threaded on and, should it get lost, this would be a problem. I don't honestly know if the manufacturer or seller could easily supply replacements. I think it would be a good idea, if they can, to order up a couple or three and keep them in reserve, just in case.

Do Not Buy
These are hands down the worst thinning shears you could spend your money on. You’d get better results with a pair of scissors from the dollar store. The first pair jammed after just two cuts, and the replacement was unusable straight out of the box.
