Setup was pretty simple. Part of the bracket that attaches to the window was broken, but not to the point to where it was unusable so whatever. Not willing to pack it all up and wait for another unit over a piece of plastic. Takes a moment for the air to come cold at first, but so far its working great :)And I got the 4 year insurance plan so YOLO

Does not work that great, thought it would be freezing cold in my house with 12000 btu feels like half of that , not recommended

We bought this for our summer cabin. It cools the 800 sq ft area very nicely. It is quiet and is not huge in size. I would definitely recommend this product if you are looking for a quick fix to a hot/cold problem!

Great unit...however definitely size down... meaning if it says up to 700 SF lets just say up to 600 SF. My space is a little to open or maybe the ceilings are little to high. Great unit and really is a workhorse. I am going to try the dehumidifier feature next.

Super loud. I mean TV volume went from 20 to 45 and we still couldn’t hear it. Husband and I sat in silence because we kept having to repeat ourselves, (were in our 30s). On top of the loudness t didn’t even cool the room down, it was always on... Do not recommend this unit

I bought this unit to cool a 250 sq ft room. At first I was disappointed it only goes down to 60 degrees, but I bought it anyway. I can say for sure the most this has cooled my room down to is 72 degrees and it picks up A LOT of moisture (which is typical for the first time an AC is used.) After running it a few times for about 5 hours each I have to drain it. It also uses way more energy than listed if your room is hot and starts to use the advertised energy once the room cools down. Measuring the electrical usage at first power on it uses between 1600-1800 watts and 15-16 amps until the room becomes close to the temperature setting (usually about 10-20 minutes.) The device however might be configured to pull more power from 20 amp circuits since when I connect it to a 15 amp circuit it doesn't blow a fuse.The heater function mostly makes you uncomfortable rather than hot. If you pick up a small Vornado heater they actually have much better BTU than what this thing has and use way less energy to do it.The design looks good with a nice sleek, black. It's matte in some areas and glossy in others, but things are for the most part uniform. It comes with the necessary parts to set the heat exhaust in a window (even wider windows) and a rubber hose for drainage. My only gripe is the drainage which needs to be redesigned as having to twist off 2 caps on the back then quickly insert a hose is outdated especially when the bottom drain is too close to the ground. Two small twist handle faucets would work wonders here and make things much easier.I noticed my unit might have a problem with the compressor too. Sometimes the compressor refuses to come on for at least 20 minutes and the fan just blows. Even the heat takes forever to come on at times. I'm not looking forward to having to move an almost 100lb AC so a tech can work on it as getting it up the stairs in the first place was a pain.Overall, I think I regret buying it, a window unit is much more efficient and powerful. At this price point it should have wireless capabilities too. Adding in a waterproof wireless card wouldn't increase the power that much since it's already a power hog anyway. Combined with the apparent issues with my compressor the value just isn't there.

USED TO COOL MY GARAGE AND DOES THE JOB WELL.

Compresser is defective unfortunately, I turn it on and it cools for about three minutes and then the compressor conks out and all I get is warm air, I have it in high cool , made sure that it wasn’t on any other feature and it dies after three minutes, plugged and unplugged the unit many times , repeated the process and the compressor dies after three minutes every time, dissapointing because it’s built solid but unusable Due to the problem, getting a refund.
