Super cute lights! I love them!

I have purchased two sets of these lights over a twelve month period. Both sets were easy to mount and light up my backyard/sideyard nicely. The first set I purchased is mounted to my patio cover, and the second set is mounted on the side of my house to light up a dog run. I highly recommend these lights.

Ok, so for parties, I’d string Christmas lights around the perimeter of the back yard, in the trees, which my wife really liked, but the lights won’t stand the test of time, and were a pain in the butt to put up and take down. After reading MANY reviews, I landed on this brand. First, I set (10) 4x4x12’s in the ground. Buried them three feet and concreted them in, leaving 9’ above grade. Make sure to use a post level for a proper job. Then, I purchased a string light installation kit (well, actually three), so there’s a cable supporting the lights, and not just the electrical cable itself. Finally, put up all the lights, ten went around and installed all 140 lightbulbs. Turned them on, wife would prefer that every other bulb is removed, spacing them 2 feet apart, as opposed to one foot apart. I’d hate to admit it, but I agree, so 70 lightbulbs are coming out, and plugs are going in the sockets to keep them free of debris. The product itself is well made, look good, and I’ve yet to have any issues with water. If you’re planning a lighting project, I highly recommend these lights. Just plan ahead on how you’re going to suspend them.

Updated review:Lights are working fine now -- apparently my "dawn to dusk" timer got bumped into "pulse and flash" mode and I didn't think to look at that (honestly I didn't even know it *did* that). Nothing was wrong with the lights and they are doing what they claim to do.One important note: these lights do not have any built-in remote or dimmer, unlike the previous Feit lights that I had for 3 years before they needed to be replaced. Not a defect or a problem, but if you bought a set from a big box store a few years back the packaging looks very similar even though the lights are a bit different. The good news is that the length is exactly the same so I could use the same mounting hooks.Original review so that I can look stupid on the intertubes:After 3 months ofsunset-to-sunrise operation, the lights started pulsing from dim to bright. No reference to this behavior in the manual or online -- now worthless. I previously purchased similar product at the local big box store and it lasted for 3 *years*

I have these lights along our fence around our home and it lights up our yard and parts of our dark street.I do like that you can add multiple strands together.I don't like that some lights seem to burn out much quicker than others.I DO like that they give you a few extra bulbs in each pack "just in case"The strands are actually a bit weighty so I suggest some really good hooks to hold these up, especially if you have more than 1 strand connected.Overall these are worth getting, you will be happy with them.

We love these lights so much we bought them twice! We took them down during Hurricane Michael, rented our house for a year and returned back! We love these lights so much we bought them again when we redesigned our back patio after we moved back in. They are heavy duty, the lights are plastic so I don’t have to worry about my kids getting glass in their feet, yet can withstand Florida weather. These photos showcase planters we also bought on Amazon, layers with 2.5bags of Quickcrete each plus extra pavers in the base of 10 ft 4x4s, plus the hanging wire. NOTE: these are heavy-duty so please make sure you account for their weight with enough grounding to substantiate it.They eliminate our backyard so we’ll and I love at 6:15pm when our timer goes off and they come on like clockwork. It makes me so happy!! Happy Wife!!PS- I plan to stain and seal the posts and plant Jasmine so they hide the “post” look at give off a beautiful fragrance in the spring.Happy Lighting!

The cable is strong , easy to put together great ambiance, looks great! I bought it for a family member . I already have a few sets in my back yard.
