This has worked nicely on a 10-day trip, staying stuck to the windshield of our rental car for the entire time -- no re-sticking needed. We have two fairly big Android phones (4.8-inch and 5-inch screens) and this holds them without a problem, even with the added stress of having a power cable attached to the phone. The only problem -- and it's common to all holders like this I've seen -- is that it is tricky to get the phone into the holder. There should be a lever that opens the jaw that can be used with one hand, while the phone is put into the jaw with the other hand. Such a lever would make this a five-star product. I had to struggle every time to get the phone properly mounted, with the risk that I would brush the screen and cause some setting to change. However, as a holder, it worked exactly as advertised. I would definitely buy this inexpensive holder again.

Delivery time was excellent. I have not placed the item in my vehicle as of yet but I messed with it for a little while to see the potential of the item. The quality seems great. The grip for a slender smartphone appears to to be excellent. Would of given it 5 stars but the description in the item did state that it fits GPS devices too. My Garmin GPS is a little too bulky than the grips allow for a secure grip. It holds but it may slip off when encountering bumps in the road. But I think if I somehow attach some type of a rough adhisive of some sort, the grips would hold my GPS device fine. My Garmin has a couple years on it so maybe a more slender GPS device would work better. I'm keeping it though because my original purpose was for my smartphone. & I'm tired of looking for another car mount. Took me forever to get to this item.

This thing really sticks to the windshield! No complaints about how well this holds on. The phone is gripped well and the plastic has held up. Ultimately I end up using the magnetic vent mount more because it's quicker to place my phone than this one but if you are looking for a solid mount that will not ris dropping your phone I would recommend this over a magnetic mount.

Edit: Now that I've had this a while, I have an update. I started mounting this to my dash rather than my windshield because it was more convenient. What i found is that when my dash gets super hot the suction loosens up and can come undone with a little pressure. i've solved this by just using one of those sun screen things for my front window when i park. Also i moved from an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6 and it still holds the size just fine. Still very sturdy after months of use.Works great stuck to the window in my car. The suction cup is sticky but also a suction cup. There's a lever on the back that you open before you place the mount, and then once you have it where you want it, you depress the lever to apply the suction. It easily holds my iPhone 5 with a case and while it does take two hands to mount/dismount the phone, it's not difficult or time-consuming. The phone is held firmly in place and you can press on the screen and home button and the phone stays right where it is. Haven't tried on a textured surface, but it comes with a little 3M adhesive disk that you can place to make a smooth surface if you need to. No complaints!

This little unit is extremely versatile in terms of configuration and holds onto the dash like it was part of it. The unit is extremely easy to install by placing it on the desired part of your dashboard and pressing the lever which creates a vacuum seal via suction. The notched thumbwheel turns easily and allows the bracket portion of the unit to be configured in a wide range of angles and orientations. With the thumbwheel tightened, the bracket stays securely in place without requiring any further adjustments.As noted in other reviews, you will need two hands to insert your device into the bracket. I have found that I can remove it with one hand via careful positioning of my thumb on one of the arms. After a number of months of using this bracket, I have not found this to be an issue whatsoever.I should also mention that this unit is mounted on a significantly curved portion of my dashboard and it's rock solid. I find this very noteworthy since, as mentioned, I have owned a number of these types of devices and most would not work on anything except flat surfaces.I highly recommend this bracket.

The product claims to hold objects between 3.5 to 5.3 inches but my 7 inch tablet is 4.5 inch wide and it does not fit. Into my first week of purchase I moved the location couple of times and the suction and fit is not as good as the first time. However, I am impressed at the ability to hold onto uneven surfaces and the sturdiness during the ride when the suction catches on. For the price they charge I expected more reliable suction

Take it from me, I have gone through about 11 of these things since the inception of the cellphone holder trend. Most of them either too ridged (the flexi necks), or too flimsy (all plastic). What I like about this product is that it has a metal base with a gel suction window attachment --- meaning: your cellphone will not be bouncing to movement of your bad shocks and it's not falling off that window ---- ever! (My daughter and I had considered dropping this holder down a few inches, but we are afraid we'll create an unexpected "air vent" in the windshield peeling it off.) --- just kidding! The part that hold the device itself is universal and hold a variety of size of phones. The "neck" --- which allows for 360 degree rotation --- is ball and cap. Convenient system if you had to change out the holder part with a more generous clamp that accommodate those bulkier accessory cases like OtterBox and Mophies.

Holds onto phone well and stays stuck on. Solid product.

La goma tiene buena succión y mantiene bien sujeto el celular sin riesgo de soltarse, sin embargo, le falta un poco de firmeza ya que tiembla un poco el celular cuando la carretera no es tan buena.

No esperaba mucho por el precio y que era una marca un tanto generica, el producto es excelente, la succion es increible.
