Will this stay zero'd on an ar15? 5.56?

Yes it will stay Zeroed on an AR-15. We have several mounted on Everything from 5.56 7” pistol, .300 blk pistols , carbines. Including car guns and 3 gun rifles. They hold zero even with hard use and frequent barrel dumps. Best red dot scope for the $$

I live in CA and listing says it cannot be shipped to my address. Is there a reason for that?

There are NO governmental restrictions for shipping this to CA. There is a default setting if you are an Amazon vendor when listing items that "things with materials made can cause cancer" warning label must be present. And that label is present, and the seller HAS to make the change to acknowledge that it is there.

Will this optic work on my Springfield saint ar 15 5.56?

This works perfect on an AR. Here is the deal...it’s made for close range shooting, I would say 75 yards an in. There is no magnification (which you don’t want for close range) and the red dot will start to cover a lot of the target at 100 yards. I suggest at least two ARs. One set up with this scope and a second setup with a nice adjustable scope...at least 24x. Then you are all set.
