Works just as advertised!!!
The only reason I gave the sleep mode a 3 is because I have never used it. The remote itself is great. No codes to find just put the battery's in point and hit the buttons. You don't have to be right on top of the tv to get it to work either. My chair is like maybe 5 feet from the tv and I can stay reclined and change the channel or what ever. My last one I had to set on the edge of my seat, stretch my arm as far as I could to get it to change the channel or what ever. (that was one of those universal remotes from Wal-Mart)

Replacement
The remote control was bought to replace another remote. As I was looking for it, in the back of my mind I wanted something that not need to be programmed. It was perfect, unlike universal remotes, it worked in all modes. I would make the purchase again if needed.

Okay so I was nervous at first because it didn't come with instructions or anything, it was just the remote in a plastic pouch. But then i put the batteries in, hit the power button, and the TV turned on! That was it! I just had to put batteries in it! That alone made it worth the purchase, even if it doesn't last very long.

Lifesaver! No programming necessary!
My 10 year old 42” Sanyo tv had a separate remote and I pretty much only used it to switch inputs since it’s not a smart tv. I could never get the input button on my DirecTV Genie remote to work. Long story short my dogs chewed up my original Sanyo tv remote and I looked for a replacement. This had fast delivery and literally only had to put 2AAA batteries in it and it automatically worked!!! No programming just push the buttons needed and it works!

Exactly what I needed
Worked exactly as expected! I have an old Sanyo tv and I didn’t have to do anything to program it. Just turned it on and it was connected. Volume, power, input buttons work. I didn’t really try the others because I only use it for my Apple TV so I don’t need the other buttons.
