I’m 6’ and wear a 48” jacket and they still look impressive on me. They don’t feel super sturdy, as other reviewers have noted, but I personally didn’t have an issue. If you’re concerned about that, it would be pretty trivial to replace the screws with better ones from the hardware store and replace the strings with thin cables, would be like $5 and 30 minutes of work. The only downside to these is the size of the straps that hold them on. The wings are sized for an adult, but the straps seem child sized. I managed to squeeze them over my arms, but it was a two person effort. This would be easy to fix by getting some cheap nylon strap and making longer straps. They’re lightweight, durable, super strong, and can fold up completely to fit in the car.
