Definitely maxes out at 12 oz. per cup; temperature at drinking temp - not real hot! Love the idea that it can use both grounds or a pod. Two hints.. When using grounds, i run a bit of water through the strainer before filling with the grounds. It seems to keep some residual out of the brewed coffee. Second hint: when finished, take a paper towel and wipe around bottom of the "well" where the grounds or pod goes, to keep it clean. (My previous similar maker seemed to accumulate a coating of coffee over a period of time. Does a better job than the ones I've had in-room at most hotels. Brew comes out a little weak (even at 6oz), but that's what you sacrifice for speed.
