Small Parts - TPC-125/16-24 -TPC-125/16 Polycarbonate Tubing, 3/4" ID x 1" OD x 1/8" Wall, Clear Color 24" L

I'm another buyer intent on making a lightsaber. I ordered the 72" long 3/4"ID x 1"OD x 1/8" wall. Feels sturdy. I was nervous about shipping, after reading reviews. It came in a sturdy cardboard tube (about 3" diameter) marked Fragile. Inside that, the tube was in a plastic bag. The tube itself has no sticker, no significant marks -- it's clear, uniform, and straight. Note about photo: the bright area of the tube is not due to a problem on the tube itself, it's just the reflection from the nearby lighting. I couldn't expect better unless it was hand carried from the factory to my door itself, and it's definitely good enough to be displayed, used, or banged around in an attempt to swing the balance to your side in the cosmic battle of good vs. evil. If it lets me down, structurally, in that last regard, I will come back as a translucent ghost and update my review.

VERY durable. We used these as super quick make-shift lightsabers for a quickie parking lot martial arts demo. The guys were striking tubing to tubing...dents and scuffs, but nothing broke. We researched the material before using it and asked, what we consider, a materials expert for a safety opinion before using this in public. Polycarbonate seems to be the lightsaber material of choice on make your own and dueling lightsaber websites. We've had escrimas made from this that lasted for years. (We got them overseas and never knew exactly what they were made of until I ordered these and heard them clink.)I'm not recommending everyone go out and duel with these, just commenting that this is very durable. I was told that if they ever do break, it will be ugly business. So...safety first. I would like to highlight that we purchased the 1/8" tube wall thickness (1" outer diameter); I have no experience with other sizes.They arrived quickly, in appropriate packaging. I will probably purchase these again.

These are great as lightsabers, verry tough, does come scrached sometimes but can be polished

Little more scratched up than anticipated a new clear pipe to be.& I'm sure it was not caused in shipping, however that left me questioning if I should return it or not.Still, the packaging it came in was at least 8" by 8" (plus too long maybe 30" it so) cardboard box and it was dropped in that box with about a paper grocery bag size rip off brown paper.Using a 3200 grit sandpaper, then some polish it turned out okay for the display portion of coolant fluid in the desk.Just be aware, if you are going to buy clear tubing, pipe, or whatever; chances are you will have a little "buffing" to do.

I thought I'm the only one using this to build a light saber, but it seems someone got the idea years earlier :)Very solid tube - strong and heavy enough hurt someone/yourself if you swing this around.Came in a very strong protective packaging, but the tube was rubbed hard somewhere and got a hazy line along the whole length. No problem for my current purpose, but if I needed a clear tube for light saber or something, I would have to return it.

Tube is okay - I mean, it's a length of tube, not much to say. High quality, does what it needs to do. But, it's a clear tube, and has a massive product ID sticker slapped on it with high-strength adhesive. I can't use abrasives to remove it, because it's a clear pipe and I don't want scratches all over it, but I can't just peel it off either - it breaks apart, and has left a horrible sticky layer of half-sticker all over the tube.

I used this for a water level indicator on my rain barrel. My tube is very transparent with no blemishes on delivery and surprisingly resilient.I do not know what kind of fittings make the most sense to use with these tubes to make them water tight, but I ended up sanding the inside of the tube and then sanding the ribs down slightly on some PEX fittings to achieve a good low pressure seal. With a little care I was able to cut this tube to the desired size with a standard pipe cutter.

After reading other reviews, I was concerned but needn't have been. Diameter specs were right on, packaged in a strong cardboard box. NO SCRATCHES...flawless beautiful tube and what a great price !

Bought it for fabricating a LED staff.Strong, reasonably light, and slightly springy.Does not offer a lot of grip on its own.

Very clear, doesn't crack when drilling through. I've built 6 lightsabers so far with this and have been satisfied.
