MODEX MNST Carbon Flex Fin 1piece Large Size MNST-3

I have so far bought two of these fins. I use one as a trailer on a twin fin set up. Keeps the tail for drifting too much. I use the other fin on my quad set up ala Kelly Slater's example. Makes the turns more positive and predictable.

The shape and foil of these fins was good, but I ordered two, and both had fcs mounting tabs that were noticeably crooked, meaning the fins both tilted / canted noticeably to the left, which for a center trailer fin is no bueno. Maybe they were returns that were Re sold. Unfortunate since otherwise they would have been good fins at a great price. I just received another less known brand’s center fin and thought slightly more money, it was cheaper than the name brand fins and perfectly straight, unlike both Modex fins I ordered.

I'm only giving this a 4 star because this nubster didn't work for me. The bite was just not enough. However, the quality and finish is what you would expect from any other name brand fins.

Nice nubster as an fcs I put it in a catch surf sponger, it's compatible w/ their fin box as well as fcs1 . Futures nubster are impossible to remove. Looks good too.
