Durability & Looks Great
Very nice knife. I like the grip, size and just everything about this knife for a great price. Blade will shave arm hair right out of the box. Action of assist is very smoth and blade is center when folded away. Locking mechanism works great and takes some force to unlock to fold blade away. They knife is mechanically well built in my opinion. I am very happy with this purchase.

The p105 is like taking a good looking female lumberjack to a party
The p105 is like taking a good looking female lumberjack to a party, it’s a real head turner but it’s not just jewelry. Great looking spear point blade with a satin finish that will take a high shine, which I like. It’s not a small folder, but the deep carry clip and the narrowing of the handle towards the rear of the knife allow it to stay out of the way for reaching in your pocket. The flipper takes about as much pressure as you would use to scratch your nose to deploy with a very solid feel, sound, and lockup. The trailing edge of the liner lock on mine sits flush with the edge of the blade, maybe a little more, and there is no blade play. The knife came sharp and this steel is corrosion resistant, I’ve had other knives with 14c28n. I always add a few knives to my collection in the winter, and I’m going to try more Ruikes. I bought this knife full price, and recommend it.

Great knife, great price
First off, this is a large knife. It's hefty, it's chunky, it's got a bit of that scary looking blade stigma going, and you know it's in your pocket. All that aside, it's great. The action is incredibly smooth. The blade has a great look and feel to it. Came plenty sharp. The g10 scales look fantastic. My one complaint might be that they rounded off the edges more on the scales. That's minor though. This knife closely resembles some Real Steel knives with the same blade shape, size, and scale colors and materials. Highly suspect RS is responsible for the assembly of these. The quality is definitely there. I would love some new color combinations for the scales. Some reds or oranges would look great with the black or blue.

Mostly great, except the detent.
I really wanted to give this knife a 5 star rating, but there's just a few issues preventing me from doing so. First off, I ordered the bright blue handle scales (P105-Q), what I received are the more subdued slate blue scales (P105-K), even though the blade is marked with the P105-Q model number. Honestly, I experienced slight buyers remorse after purchasing while watching some YouTube reviews of this knife and realizing that the blue anodized disk on the pocket clip looks better with the slate blue. So I can write that QC mistake off as a "happy accident." Second issue is that the blade stock is fairly thin with a almost full flat grind, not counting the swedge along the back of the spine, yet the handle is very wide. Both the liners and handle scales are much thicker than needed considering the blade thickness and geometry. The well contoured scales overcome some of this, providing a very comfortable grip, but this knife could take up a lot less pocket space if they had shaved of some of the unnecessary thickness. Admittedly this isn't a huge deal by any means. The last and biggest issue I have with this knife, (and the main reason I took a star off of my rating) is that it has a pretty soft detent especially for a larger folding knife. Fortunately, the bearings provide a smooth enough action that the blade still deploys reliably, and there's no worry of it accidentally coming open in the pocket, but this knife can be opened with a hard enough shake or wrist flick. In places that have strict knife laws this could technically be classified as a gravity knife, and therefore potentially illegal. Granted, it's not very likely to come up, but if you do live in one of those places that aren't very knife friendly, and you run afoul of an over zealous cop or prosecutor, this knife could cause you some legal problems. Again, it's probably unlikely to happen, but it should never have been an issue in the first place. Now having said all that, this is still a very good knife for the money. The Sandvik steel is an improvement over the 8cr13mov or 440 most commonly found on Chinese knives in the price range, and a lot of people consider it to be even better than VG-10. Knife came with an arm hair removing factory edge. There is no blade play in any direction. Blade centering isn't perfect, but acceptable, it does favor the pocket clip side just slightly, but I've seen worse on brand new Benchmades that cost 5x as much. As I already mentioned the G-10 scales are very well contoured as well as being finely textured, providing enough traction while still being comfortable. They look great as well. The recessed areas are smooth and confirm to where your fingers are naturally going to rest on the handle. Overall ergonomics are very nice. The deep carry pocket clip works well and doesn't create any undue discomfort in the hand, in fact it feels better than most of the knives I own. The flipper tab deploys the blade properly. With the soft detent, the blade doesn't snap out.as quick as most flippers I've owned, but rather glides out smoothly and engages the liner lock nicely. Early lock up is nice and secure, with plenty of room left to accommodate wear on the liner. There is just the right amount of jimping on the thumb ramp. It's grippy without being overly aggressive. All things considered, this is a very good budget knife. If it weren't for the detent issue, it could have been an amazing budget knife. Still, all in all, of you're looking for a very attractive looking large size folder for under $40.00 you could do a lot worse. I'll definitely be buying another Ruike again.

Perfect!
This is my 2nd Ruike knife, and i am even more inpressed now. The first is the green handle hassar i think its called, and that was awesome. I was debating on getting this knife but i am glad i did. Fit and finish is perfect. Centered perfect. Bevels even. Pretty sharp, but i put all my knives on my kme and sharpen down to .3 m so it doesn't matter how sharp they are new to me. For those that do care and have no sharpening system, it shaves hair off my arm right out of box. The ball bearing washers make it insanely smooth to open and enjoyable. The liner lock has a perfect lockup dead center. I will buy the other ruike models soon. Plus 14c28n has about the same edge retention test of vg10 for those of you who just dont know much about it. And i have many of both and agree. Buy it you will be pleasantly surprised!

extreme value
this is one of my favorite affordable knives. the action is fantastic (runs on steel bearings). the blade is a full flat grind and is pretty thin behind the edge. this makes for an excellent slicey blade. it also has a rather thin tip for detail work (good for edc, not for hard use) it has a good thumb ramp with jimping that actually works. it has a deep carry clip that is rather effective, though some people think it's ugly (i don't mind it). Finally, it's made of 14c28n steel which is a big standout in this price range. testing of this steel shows it is pretty competitive with vg-10. for 36 dollars it's hard to beat this one.

Amazing Customer Service Earned A Lifetime Customer!
First, the knife is great! Sharpens to razor sharp, keeps an edge, lock is sturdy...all the things that make a folding knife good. Second, the customer service is amazing! I bought this knife 2 years ago. A few weeks ago the clip broke by getting snagged on my workbench. Contacting them was easy. They responded in a day and shipped 3 new clips to me free of charge...on a $30 knife!? Benchmade, Spyderco and Ruger can all learn something from Ruike's customer service. They now have a lifetime customer in me....makes Christmas shopping easy this year!

A great flipper for the price
As a knife collector, I have purchased many folders and fixed blades. This is my first Ruike and I am very impressed with all aspects of the knife. The deployment is very smooth, (flipper), the lock-up is strong, the blade is perfectly centered with no play and the G-10 handles are contoured and textured just right. The deep carry 'skeletonized' pocket clip is well designed as well. I have several $100. knives in my collection that do not meet these standards. This is an exceptional knife for the price, get ya one!

excelente navaja!!

So so so geil, Hammer.
