If you love relaxing, screen-free activities, this color by number book is your perfect companion. Discover the joy of revealing hidden images as you color your way through 100 captivating pages . This coloring book features: Diverse themes: Breathtaking landscapes, realistic portraits, animals, still life, flowers, whimsical settings, and more. Three grid styles: Squares, dots and diamonds. Black backgrounds: Black backgrounds and bold grid lines make coloring easy and enjoyable. Mindful coloring: Let the numbers and letters guide you as each hidden image is revealed. Index included: Navigate all completed designs easily with the index at the end of the book. Marker-friendly tip: Use a thick sheet behind the page to prevent bleed-through when using markers. Review: Relaxing, Addictive, and Full of Variety - I ordered both the black and white versions of this book to compare and was immediately impressed by the sturdy, eye-catching cover and the sheer number of pages to color. Experience & Variety This is calming, fun, and just a bit mysterious. The variety is great, and part of the appeal is not knowing what you are creating until the image emerges. Looking at a finished page without the numbers, I would have a hard time guessing the subject before coloring it. Watching subtle shifts in color take shape is surprisingly satisfying. Paper & Usability The paper could be better. Even with a scratch sheet underneath, I had some bleed-through across double pages, although marker choice plays a role. A couple of thick, removable pages at the back would help. My other small knock is the overuse of black fill around the edges. Sometimes it is 25 percent of the image, which means burning through black markers faster than I would like. Relaxation Factor This is wonderfully relaxing. We took it on a recent cruise and returned to it multiple times, swapping between the black and white versions. Both were equally enjoyable to watch come to life. Value & Recommendation For the amount of content, this is a great value. The black background makes colors pop, and the binding feels durable enough for long-term use. I would recommend it to anyone, whether you are an avid colorist or just want a peaceful way to pass the time. Bottom Line A perfect pick for unwinding, traveling, or sharing with friends. Just keep an extra black marker handy. Review: You can’t stop at just one! So much fun and relaxing as well! - This is for 100 Color by Number Mysteries. It gives you a number guide for you to follow, so you can choose your marker or crayon colors in the beginning and then use them throughout the book to uncover gorgeous artwork. I found this so relaxing to do in the evenings, especially after a stressful day at work. I’m using Ohuhu markers, but you could use colored pencils or even crayons. With the Ohuhu markers, I use a sheet of cardstock behind each page so it doesn’t affect the pages underneath as I’m coloring. You could also put a sheet or two of notebook paper as well, but the cardstock works nicely for me. I’m also experimenting with creating Ohuhu marker palette sets and scanning in the pages to recolor them digitally, since I also enjoy using Procreate on my iPad. This is such a relaxing and fun activity for both kids and adults, and it is great to do while I’m watching tv or listening to an audiobook. Highly recommend! I plan to buy the entire set, and if they ever come out with digital PDF’s, I’ll buy those as well — I enjoy this book series so much! Also be sure to sign up online, as the author also provides some sheets you can print out and color from the website as well. Excellent, high quality artwork!

Worth the time and money
I have spent countless hours on this book as I wind down at the end of the night. My tween has even taken to coloring here and there, and I especially appreciate that there's an index at the back so I can give him pages that are more likely to interest him. I do wish there was less solid background on some of the pictures. Row after row after row of one color runs out my markers fast and wears on my patience. I have taken to avoiding the big blocks on the exterior and only coloring enough to frame the subject well. I've tried another in this series and I would recommend this book hands down over the other.

Interesting but not suggested with markers
The concept of a mystery coloring book is really fun. It is interesting to see what comes from it and some of it is quite nice. My biggest complaint is that the ink of the paper bleeds in with ink from a marker. I preferred marker over colored pencil (which is their suggestion to use) because it became taxing on my wrist to color the tiny squares with pencil. I have included a photo of one of the completed pictures so that the ink bleeding can be seen. You will see it mostly in the yellow/tan areas. It has a lot of pictures to do so it will fill up your time. Overall I still enjoyed it but it would be better if the ink didn't bleed.

This Changes Coloring Forever!
Omg in love! I haven’t colored in a while and this got me right back into it. There are so many pages to color and it feels like it will never end. I can sit at my desk for hours losing track of time while coloring in these missing pages. Can’t wait to get the whole set of books!

I love this coloring book - great for helping stay calm and mindful!!!
This book is so much fun! To be honest, I recently went through a very bad breakup and I was desperately looking for ways to take my mind off of everything that had been going on. This book is so cool. I love that you don't know what the image is until you're done with the page (unless you look in the back of the book, but I don't!). It definitely distracts my mind and puts me at ease. I definitely am calm and mindful when I'm doing it. I would recommend this to anyone! I'm definitely going to buy more from this same series!

Smells like newspaper ink, but is entertaining
The coloring book is good for the price, but the pages are thin and if using most markers, it will bleed through. The markers will also bleed outside of the shape you’re coloring. The book does have a strong newspaper ink smell, and I wish some of the pictures didn’t have so much black borders to fill in. I went through a lot of markers to fill it in. The ink from the numbers will also mix with the marker that you’re coloring with and will change the outcome. I tried using crayons and pencils, but didn’t like how they worked on the page. Overall, this is a decent book with some fun pictures, but I wish the quality were better - even if it meant getting half the number of pictures for better quality. I also wish the book came with the colors of markers or pencils or crayons needed. It could be user error, but I haven’t been able to get any of the pictures to pop like the pictures in the description. But it is a very nice distraction and is calming.

Great non screen activity
This was purchased as a gift for a 14 year old's birthday. He likes the surprise of each picture. He says it takes a long time to complete each picture, but he enjoys it. Make sure to use the paper at the back of the book or your own cardstock behind each page so that the ink doesn't bleed through. We would recommend this book.

Very nice
Really good and fun to paint like this. One bad thing is that it can be hard to see what colour you should use because the black is getting through the page

Pixel like colour by numbers
I just received this book for Mother’s Day. I’m excited to get started. I have used colour by numbers before but this is different all to the good. I love the idea of one sided and being black paper so colours bleed through. I myself love using coloured pencils so that won’t be a problem. Also a bit like dot lines & spirals, you can’t make out the picture so it’s a mystery up to the end. Even though the pictures are reasonably simple the pixel like squares, circles and diamonds make it seem so much more detailed Even though I havn’t started yet I know I’m going to love every minute of this and there’s so many Even though the pictures are reasonably simple the pixel like squares, circles and diamonds make it seem so much more detailed to colour. I’m going to be busy fo quite a while.

Kurz gesagt: KLARE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!

Definite must buy!
I am really loving and enjoying this book. I love the feel of the thick paper. Even though it is a mystery colouring book, I like the details in the back of the book to let you know what the image is going to be after you are done, and then you can mark it off. The colour swatch at the front of the book is really handy to have, but I would have liked a space where you can write what markers you are using, so you can keep track. I also like the fact that it has a tip that if you are going to use alcohol markers, then to place a piece of card stock in between the pages, so you don't damage the image underneath. Definitely going to be buying more of these books from this seller in the future!
