Got this for a project I had, where I wanted to spray paint the backplate of my GPU. It took a while with the sanding paper it came with, but it did get the job done.

The problem I had was with the disc pad where it rotates on the rubber shield/gaurd/seal/ .. Apparently there was a lack of lubricant and it welded itself together there causing too much strain on the poor motor. I took it apart to diagnose the issue, but it was too later, the motor was doomed. I did buy another one, because I liked the performance, and when it came, first thing I did was to take the discpad off and lubricate the rubber seal, and, indeed it was lacking proper lube, although there was a tiny bit. Now it should perform much longer and better. I will also perform this maintenance on it periodically.

Sander seems to work fine but it is to heavy compared to others.

bought this to do some wall skimming (stupid wallpaper). have sanders but none of mine had a dust port. just added a 1" nipple pipe to sander so I could attach my hose, worked perfectly! nice addition to the tool collection for house projects

I have been hand sanding my life away because I can and it is cheap! I had to get a project done quickly and efficiently....meet my new best friend. It does wobble a tad if things are not perfectly centered and catches sometimes BUT we are all a little unstable sometimes!
