Hands Down THE Best Adwords Resource
This is literally the best $15 I spent in 2016. I had recently hired an Adwords consultant for $500 a month to run the Adwords for my small bookkeeping business. To my horror, one month into the process I discovered that one of the ads they had written used the word "booking" instead of "bookkeeping". This is an ad I had spent hundreds of dollars on.Needless to say, my confidence was dashed. So I started trying to educate myself on Adwords. I took courses on Lynda, read blogs, took classes on Udemy, you name it. Nothing gave me the kind of practical, comprehensive, step-by-step breakdown of the platform that I needed to confidently manage the platform on my own.Until now. Once I started reading this book, I could not put it down. I finished the book in two days, and it is HEAVILY annotated. I immediately found mistakes that my previous consultant had made in my Adwords account. Today I ran my first ads on my own, with no outside input. I feel confident about them.Don't waste time with other books and outside Adwords consultant. Buy this one, manage your account on your own.I'll update this review once my campaigns have been running a few months to see if this confidence remains down the road.

Buy this book if you need to execute adwords or evaluate the performance of a company handling it for your business.
Great overview for any small business owner considering adwords. Depressing as I learned I was simply wasting money and lining Googles pockets. I had just hired a ad company to manage my adwords and did not quite trust them so I wanted to know more. This book was wonderful. I was able to evaluate what they wanted to do, I knew the question to answer. When they created lousy ads I caught them. I would have had no idea in the past that what they were doing is wrong. For now I am still using them as I do not have time to manage adwords myself. If there performance and my ads do not improve I now know enough so I can fire them. A must read even if you just skim it.

Worth Its Weight In Gold.
This is a GREAT book. Over the years, I have wasted thousands of dollars in Adwords and I have friends who wasted much more. While reading the book and highlighting and dog-earing pages, I created 2 separate Adword Ads for 2 different businesses at $5 a day each, just to see what happened.By day THREE I had a $3,000 client for one business, and another $700 customer on day FIVE.This account will be increased to $50 day on June 1.The other business, a highly specialized niche, I have 3 new potential clients and added 4 new leads to the list.VERY HAPPY!I plan on attending the next Perry Marshall seminar. The book is worth its weight in Gold.Buy it and get the 80/20% book too.

A really terrific book. I had to get over the "salsey" ...
A really terrific book. I had to get over the "salsey" talk in every chapter to really start liking this book: every chapter starts with a couple of paragraphs about how this chapter will change your life and get you to make millions of dollars! (hence the 4 & not 5 stars - it just gets on your nerve)What I really like the most about this book is how it combines all sort of aspects. Not only does it give you real-life technical pointers about managing an Adwords campaign, it actually talks about different things you need like copywriting, managing your time and staying positive.

the value in the book is already great enough. 3
Perry is a world class AdWords guru and marketing guru. There is very High value in this book. Whether you are a seasoned veteran or a newbie. And to hell with people hating on all the email opt in links,1 he is a marketer and has every right to practice his profession the way he wants to, and that means growing his list by providing value in return for opt ins. 2, you are not forced to opt in, the value in the book is already great enough.3, opting in gives you even more value, cause he sends you tons of useful information. So, yea, this is the besT book on AdWords I found, and I've taken AdWords tutorials and read many books on it.

Valuable advice for PPC and business in general finding the right market and opportunity for products
I just start reading the book, I read over 50% of the content on the kindle version, excellent the formatting.I've been waiting patiently for the release of this edition.I realized that I was wasting time and money in how I was setting up the pay per click marketing and not just me I know many clients that gave the control to Google Adwords team and other internet marketers to manage their PPC campaigns and they don't even know what are getting back for the money invested, now I am feeling more confident on what I am going to do with my advertising dollars and I know I need to stick more with Perry Marshall's teachings and tools to master these skills.Thank you Perry, I will update this review once I put in practice and get results with your teachings in the book.

Blown away
I have 2 hesitants (new word) to writing this.1: I would hate for my competitors to get wind of it2: All other book buyers will by their magnitude take away Perry's interest in ME.Anyway, this is, by far, the most ground breaking book I read since Eli Goldratt's "The Goal" which, of course, covered Production and not Marketing/Sales. The book handles all aspects of Adwords in detail, but it also brings Perry's philosophy about sales and marketing across in a way that forced me (being a boring engineering type) to re-think this whole process. Read it!

In my view you don't get what you believe you'll get for paying for something
The book has a lot of info that is there to make the book longer and is not neccessary. If you are looking for clear guidelines you have to be looking for them. It's not bad if you know nothing about the topic. But if you are looking to learn how to really get results is all to blurry and generic. But depending on the reader could be a good starting point if you can handle the fluff and waste of time reading the parts that don't matter. I would even give it a It shigher mark if it would have cost less or nothing since they are following emails forever for the next sale. But If you pay for something you hope it will give you what you need.Ultimate Guide to Google AdWords: How to Access 100 Million People in 10 Minutes (Ultimate Series)
