It’s pretty good for marinating chicken and to make dumpling sauce for dipping. It gets thicker when I add sugar, ginger and green onions ;)I’ve used the fancy one and it wasn’t as good.

I love this sauce, and I was let down when it arrived. The packaging was loose and one of the bottles slipped out. During the delivery process, the bottle rammed against the other bottles causing the glass to break. Thankfully it was only one bottle, and I can still enjoy the other 3 I have ordered.

Included two bottles in our monthly order. We marinate for part of the day and cook up. Also use some sauce on top of rice. Super tasty and traditional

Tastes great. Not like Whole Foods' Hoisin sauce, which has way too much hot pepper or black pepper in it.

It has excellent flavor! I was concerned about bloating as I've been on a low-fodmap diet. I was pleasantly surprised that it caused no issues, and contains a negligible amount of sugar for the amount I used in my recipe. I will rebuy it!
