My grandson asked for a birdhouse that he could build and paint for Christmas. He lived it. He was able to build it and paint by himself with a little supervision. He’s 7 and very creative. Wonderful gift .

Adorable but only useful for decoration or project with the grandkids. Not big enough for actual birdhouse use. Fairly easy to put together but gave 4 instead of 5 stars because I had to tool the slots a bit to get them together.

Quick and easy assembly - just give the pieces a shove and they snap together nicely. Haven't painted it yet, but assembly took about 20 minutes (for an adult + kid). We will paint another day!

It is smaller and flimsier than we expected - but my daughter had fun anyway. She did use hot glue to keep it from disassembling.

The quality exceeded my expectations. The kids were able to follow the picture directions for assembly with no problem. It is real wood but it did not splinter when we popped the pieces out.

Love the ease of this craft project for kids. I think it also boosts their self esteem when you hang up their finished product outside with your other bird feeders and bird houses. Love the shape also!

Difficult to get the pieces to snap together. Fun for him to paint. No birds.
