Excellent upgrade
I’m so pleased with this! I’d used a Brita filter for, well, forever, and I honestly was just really ignorant about different types of filters and what they even do. I moved up to New England a few years ago and the rental I’m in is in a very old building that absolutely hasn’t been updated in most ways. I started looking into things like old plumbing in structures like this and boy, what a rabbit hole that was. I decided it would be best to upgrade my water filter so it would help eliminate the oh-so-many things in these very old pipes, and decided on this one because it was within my budget and seemed very effective. I love that it’s a glass container instead of plastic. It’s a little smaller than my old one, but that’s no big deal. I’ve gotten in the habit of filling it up a little at a time while doing other things in the kitchen. Is it slower than my Brita? Yep. I’ve seen other reviews complaining about it. But I don’t mind at all. It’s a dual filtration system and that means yes, it takes a little longer. If anything, that just makes me feel even better about its efficacy. I’m someone who sips on ice water all day and my kitties have a large fountain that I fill using this as well, so it’s put to great use! And I know it likely sounds crazy, but the water tastes better. I’m sure some of it is psychological, which hey, fine lol. But it just tastes cleaner, crisp, and more like absolutely nothing. It’s wonderful. Highly recommend! Edit to add: The bigger filter is an absolute PAIN to remove when cleaning/maintaining the pitcher regularly (and replacing the filter itself once a year or so). This part specifically would definitely benefit from a redesign. But still, overall, I’m keeping my rating the same. Hope they reevaluate this one thing in future models.

Worth Every Penny for Clean, Tasty & Healthy Water
This is my second LifeStraw Glass Water Filter Pitcher and I absolutely love it. I wanted a second glass filter pitcher to make my coffee and cold brew from. I can't tell you how awful my local water tastes, smells and looks. I have had the water tested several times and the water company always says it is fine, but still, it smells of chemicals and chlorine, plus my bath water is almost always brown. (No breaks in the water line, hot water heater clean, and fire dept not testing out fire hydrants.) I was barely drinking any water at all because I found the water so disgusting & I am paranoid about drinking from bottled water. Then I got my first LifeStraw Glass Water Filter Pitcher last fall and once again, drinking much better tasting and better looking water. I feel better knowing that it is removing the chemicals, the unnecessary things like lead and mercury, pesticides, PFAS, microplastics, bacteria, and other gunk that I don't want to be drinking. Yes, it takes time to filter the water, but considering everything that is getting filtered out of the water, I don't have an issue with it. I really wish that LifeStraw would make a larger, glass high capacity dispenser and possible figure out a way for the filter container to also be glass as I have tried to remove all plastic (including BPA plastic) out of my life. A 10 cup LifeStraw Glass Water Filter Pitcher would also be nice and I would also love a silicone lid to go on top of the filter for those days that the glass filter is not in the fridge. Anyway, this product is worth every penny and really buys peace of mind when it comes to knowing that I am drinking clean water.

Great Design. Great Taste.
This pitcher does a great job at filtering out the bad taste and toxins. I love the design, too. The only negative is that it filters so good, that it takes about ten minutes for the water to drain into the pitcher, and you have to add water the or four times to fill it. But I solved that problem by purchasing another regular pitcher to pour the filtered water into, so I never have to wait for the water in the Lifestraw. I'm fine with having to do this due to the testing showing it does an excellent job filtering.

Filter stopped working after one use.
I filled this pitcher and put it in the refrigerator. After it was emptied, I washed it, let the filter dry and reassembled the pitcher. It is easy to take apart. I refilled it a second time and the larger filter will not let water through. I have no idea why and I tried looking at the website for troubleshooting, but I can't find any answers. It was a pretty expensive purchase and I think there are better pitchers for less money.

Well made
The pitcher is well made and I do like the rubber on the bottom. Helps keep it from slipping. It works well, does water taste better? I honestly can’t say. It doesn’t taste worse but not sure it tastes any better than my Zero water pitcher. I’m glad I have it and will continue using it in hopes it does remove microplastics. I’m no longer buying bottled water.

Improves health, saves time, and elevates quality of life. All in one simple product.
Excellent Product! I honestly wasn’t expecting it to have such a big impact. The water that comes out of this filter tastes wonderful — it actually makes me want to drink more water! I now have a really pleasurable experience every time I drink it. I find myself refilling my bottles more often and more quickly because the system is practical and filters water in a much shorter time. This has made a real difference in my life — I have more time, feel healthier, and enjoy something as simple as drinking water again. The benefits are truly priceless — who can put a price on time, health, and pleasure all at once? All in all, it’s a 10 out of 10. I absolutely love this product!

Slow filter, worth waiting for
How good is it? Well let's see... it will filter the 'flavor' out of flavored water. It will turn cranberry juice into pure drinkable water (my daughter made me test it). It's large enough to have a few glasses and the glass is not so think I worry about it breaking easily (put in a safe spot). I was sold on the fact that it can take something as strong as cranberry and take not only the color, but the taste as well and become pure water. It's a silly test but shows just how amazing this filtration is. Is it worth the cost? I think if they drop $10 off of it and make it slightly bigger, people would be buying it up. However for me, I'm very glad I bought this. It will save me money on bottled water I can use it to filter my 'filtered' fridge water and enjoy the safety and taste. My mom is begging me for one now. =)

Does not drip too slow like some reviews sigg8
I did a fair bit of research before I bought this water filter pitcher. I almost didn't purchase because of the few reviews that said it was so very slow in filtering the water. I'm so glad I purchased it. I've had it about a month now and use it every single day. I don't understand the reviews about it being so slow. I fill it up and walk away and I would say with a 10 15 min window it's filtered. I guess if you are waiting for a glass every single time it would be different. But I keep filling it until there is a full pitcher and then fill it some before I run out. So its no problem for me to wait until it filters. And it's not even like it drips slowly. Its a continuous drip with no delays. I had to have a glass pitcher and I wanted it to filter out micro plastics and reduce other contaminates and this fits the bill for me. I got the 7 cup because I wasn't sure how heavy it would be once filled. This is not too heavy for me but the 10 cup might have been. But then I have weak muscles. It's very attractive. I use it a lot at work and everyone loves my sleek water pitcher!

Quality construction, glass body and water quality.
Super happy with this water filter jug, it is a bit slow to filter but would rather that to have better quality water. Beautiful taste, soft and clean, zero normal tap water taste. Glass is the only way to go, only wish the filters weren't so expensive but again the water quality is top notch -I will REALLY know this after getting the water analyzed in a week time but am very happy so far). If it does actually remove micro plastics will be the big one for me (as it claims).
