"golden" flavoring for popcorn- like the theater!!
If your looking for that theater flavor, here it is. Its good stuff, but be warned, its just like (or the same exact thing)...which means you have to heat it up some, and it will give you those mega-greasy fingers- just like the theater.I had to try it, and its good, but its hard to beat REAL butter when at home.PS- they make another version that is trans fat free-this one is loaded up, but hey, what do you expect. Theaters try to save cost.

Warm it up!
This "butter" flavoring is OK. As some other folks have said, it NEEDS to be warmed up to taste decent. When its cold I just can't say it tastes good. I ended up buying some butter warmers, fueled by tea candles, to put this in for guest which worked well. I'll probably go with the condiment bottle in a baby bottle warmer idea I saw online next time. Overall some of my guests liked it and others just liked the their popcorn without it.

Finally, what I been looking for
I been searching long and hard for the right exact ingredients to make at home for that true movie theater popcorn. I have a popcorn machine and use the coconut oil and flavacol and tried every topping from the store to actual Odells clarified butter. Although I was making excellent popcorn for our movie nights, something was missing as my popcorn was still not 100 percent movie theater popcorn smell and taste although I was close. I took a chance and ordered this super kist Two as I was hesitant with several negative reviews here and this is not exactly cheap. Omg, I am so glad I bought this finally. The first time I used it, after I put it on a freshly popped batch from my machine, THIS WAS IT. You know immediately the moment you put it on. The aroma, smell, and taste. I now have exact movie theater popcorn. I have read some people bought the 200 butter topper machine, or use double boilers or oil warmers. I simply bought some plastic squeeze bottles here on Amazon. This stuff comes out thick from its gallon container. I put some in a squeeze bottle and warmed it in the microwave 20 -30 seconds. You don't want this scalding hot as butter is only meant to be warm. I then put it on each persons bowl of popcorn, a little goes a long way, and shook each bowl then put on a dab more. We are in heaven. This is the real deal folks. you wont be disappointed.

Nothing Special
I've been searching for movie theater type topping and this isn't it. In its defense, nothing else I've tried is any better. It's not bad, but it's not good either. About the only thing I haven't tried is the Mor Gold topping, but I can't seem to find a decent price for it.Looking at other reviews, people seem to like it....but, it just doesn't do it for me.

Real deal, Search is over
This is the stuff used by local Goodrich Quality Theaters -IMAX 16 in Indy area. I saw the jug once while at the theatre, bought this online and shazaam. Need to shake jug well before dispensing and need to warm it up on stove (not recommended for uWave). Don't overheat it because then it turns into bitter tasting chemicals. Also realize the NT (non-trans) version of this does not taste the same (I have that one too). If you are looking for the flavor your local theatre has just ask the kid working there to pull the jug out and show it to you. Don't do what I did and buy a bunch of varieties online and then realize it wasn't the right one. There are a couple others out there that taste good too but I wanted an exact match. You might end up in the ER if you partake in this every day or at least on occasion have a belly ache from too much do-it-yourself application. Use with caution and delight. I also found out that to totally replicate the movie theatre experience I have to let my popcorn sit in my fancy popcorn machine for a day so it will get somewhat stale. Sad isn't it? At least I can enjoy the experience at home without paying for a movie ticket. Unless you count the $200 a month for cable.

Wonderfully Buttery... Just as I had hoped!
I have tried several buttery toppings over the past couple years looking for the one that would most imitate the stuff they use at the movie theater. I have been, for the most part, very disappointed ... until now! This is the one that REALLY makes a difference and adds that "fresh from the movie theater" taste. I'm so glad that I have what I want now so the search is finished and I can stop wasting money on stuff that does not taste good at all. I wrote to the manufacturer and they said the Super-Kist Two will stay fresh up to a year after opening so I have a long time to finish it up and don't have to worry about throwing out what's left of a partially used container.BTW, the container has changed. It is now a white plastic jug and not the see-thru container you see here. What I do to make my "perfect" popcorn is use about 1 1/2 to 2 TBSPs of the coconut oil (by Paragon, sold here in the big jar) in my Stir Crazy with about 1/2 cup of Orville Redenbacher popcorn (the jar container stuff at the grocery store) and sprinkle it with 3/4 tsp of Flavacol (sold here). After it's popped I pour warmed up Super-Kist Two over the top and add a little pepper and shake it up. (yes, I like pepper on my popcorn!) Yum! Perfect!

Adequate only if one lowers one's standards
Prior to ordering, I viewed only the first customer review of this product. Had I read the second, I would have likely reconsidered. So for those of you patient enough to research this farther than I, my recommendation is to keep shopping. The reviewer labeling it as "Adequate, but no cigar" is on the right track. This topping not only lacks the robust flavor of Orville Redenbacher's "Pour Over" popcorn topping; This topping lacks even the marginally adequate flavor of my least favorite movie theater's toppings.Put simply, this is a beautifully colored, hydrogenated oil with a very slight butter flavoring that does little more than make your popcorn oily. Your better off with a stick of butter.I cannot recommend this product as I'm currently looking for an alternate use for the gallon I now possess.Note: Unfortunately, Orville's Pour Over Popcorn topping is not yet offered as a separate item. They only sell it with their microwave popcorn so it's not an option for those of us who prefer to pop outside the microwave.
