Worth the money for what you get

You get anything you possibly want for tending bar, and a nice stand to contain it all. There weren't instructions for putting the stand together. This is basic entry level material though-the wine key serves its purpose, does have a little knife for removing the foil. The bottle stopper fits fine. You get metal straws, a brush to clean them, a very nice muddler (probably my favorite of the set) silver whiskey stones-those are pretty lightweight-the strainer works well, perfect fit on the tin. You get a could different dual sided jiggers that are nice for all the measurements! The little recipe book is great, but it also doesn't give you instructions on how exactly to use all the different items. For a person unfamiliar with a bar, that would have been nice.

When taking the price into consideration, it's a good set. As someone else mentioned, the shaker isn't double walled at all, so your hand can just about freeze to it. The first drink I made had a good bit of ice in the mixture and the whole shaker frosted over within seconds and my fingers actually stuck to it a bit because they were wet from washing everything. So it gets pretty cold. But all in all this set has a lot to offer for a very affordable price and I've been using it plenty over the last few hot days making everyone cold drinks!

I didn't know if I was going to love learning how to make mixed drinks so, this set has been amazing to start with. Having all of the tools you could possibly use is so nice to learn with. I find I enjoy the making almost as much as the drinking! I think most of this set is higher quality than i expected from a "set" as usually sets are a collection of mediocre things. I can see where the muller could be a smidge heavier but, it's not chintzy feeling. I do wish the bottle spouts had a curve on them as I usually end up with a spillage of alcohol on the counter after pouring and the shot measuring up is too small. I don't use the metal "ice" cubes as they don't seem to cool the drinks enough and are quite noisy in the shaker as well. I think this is enough of a good set that I will use it until I feel the need to upgrade, which I'm not sure will be necessary. This would also make a very nice gift.

Most shakers nowadays are insulated, so that you can shake without freezing your hand off. I was disappointed to find that this one is not double-walled. The box arrived poorly packaged, the jiggers seem to be poorly made and are unmarked, and who needs three metal straws? Just a weird bar kit that I wouldn't really recommend to anyone.

This set includes more than you really need to make drinks, but that means you can try all kinds of stuff you might not otherwise try and see what works best for you. This would be a good gift for someone who wants to try making mixed drinks or mocktails and doesn't know where to start. The quality of everything is OK. Nothing is great. Nothing is really bad. The shaker seals well enough to shake. The pourers pour. The metal faux ice cubes work as well those ever work. The spoon spoons and the bottle opener opens.
