Works very well on seborrheic dermatitis !!
For over 10 years I've tried every medicated shampoo, conditioner and prescription medication for stubborn seborrheic dermatitis. Up until now I only saw a 50% improvement of this incurable condition no matter what I tried.I started using this product a few weeks ago, and was VERY surprised how well it worked.First of all, it is sold as an anti-itch medication, and it works great for itching. But it is the ONLY product I've found that would heal the painful sores that can develop with seborrheic dermatitis. It works better than a $600 per month medication I was applying to my scalp daily. So, here's my regimen. I use Nizoral shampoo every other day. You MUST leave any medicated shampoos on your scalp 5 minutes or longer before rinsing off. Then repeat. Use a SOFT brush to lightly scrub off loose flakes from the scalp.Pick a shampoo that is the least irritating to your scalp. Nizoral is best for me, but I would still get painful sores that would not heal if using this shampoo alone. Now, apply scalpicin morning, noon and before bed. It is very easy to use and it is not oily or greasy! Apply to scalp and brush/comb your hair. If you have bad sores, you can apply an extra dab to each more often until they begin to heal. Then just use product 3 times a day. Continue to use so sores don't come back.I see a 90% improvement in symptoms of seborrheic dermatitis with the use of this product.

Works at reducing itching quickly and efficiently
This is a liquid that comes in a squeeze bottle. It will really pour out a lot if you're not careful so I advise you to hold it a little to the side instead of straight upside down to prevent getting soaked. Once that's figured out, you just apply it to the itchy spots on your head. At least that's what I did. First, I washed my hair and allowed it to thoroughly dry but the directions say you can just towel dry your head and then apply it. Even being careful, some of it dripped down the sides of my head as I don't have much hair anymore and there wasn't much up there to absorb the liquid quickly enough to prevent it from dripping. I used a towel to dab it up and worked the liquid into the spots I was aiming for. I didn't realize how much I reflexively scratch my head and had to stop myself from just scratching and let the liquid work. It did very quickly and soon my head wasn't itching anymore. I applied it twice in one day and now apply it every morning and the itching has been greatly reduced. I think some of the itching is actually IN my head instead of ON it so I believe that eventually, I will stop scratching altogether. It really only takes a few drops in each hot spot to work so the bottle should last quite a while.

Works as well as prescription for me
I suffer from dermatitis on my scalp and none of the shampoos that dermatologist recommended have ever fully worked for me. I suspect for my condition it is somehow tied to my menatrual cycle and partially to the weather. So I find myself maybe twice a month where I may need to bust out this to help control the flaking. It does the job because what can really treat the skin under all the hair on your scalp? The design of the bottle helps to allow the medication to pinpoint certain areas of the scalp. I do admit I felt sort of dumb at first trying to figure out how to open the cap as I assumed it was the same bottle as the prescription steroid type and didn’t realize it was twist cap. I feel that this over the counter steroid does the job as well as the prescription one I use to get when I had insurance. I try not to use it too much because using too much steroids is not good so I save it more for when I have those bad breakouts.

Major relief for dry itchy scalp!
Major help when I started reacting to my regular salon hair dye. Soon my already sensitive scalp with easy build up could no longer handle harsh and frequent shampooing either. Turned out I need to go sulfate free with hair products (check out Kristin Ess products for effective but sulfate free products) and I changed dyes. I now use e-salon and it has been better a lot better for me. They managed to mix the same beautiful color I was using at the salon for and my stylist taught me to try and keep the dye away from the scalp as much as I can with a dye brush. The only part is when you blend and rinse is not to scrub. Dying can still cause some dryness and scalp itchiness but not like before and if it does this stuff comes to my rescue!

Tremendous amount of relief!
My scalp does not like hair spray, mousse, or various other products, including color. Scalp will break out in sore patches that itch like heck and will eventually peel. This stops the itching within minutes and also calms the redness and prevents progression. This solution is thin like water, so in a bad flare I can go through a bottle in a day or two., but if I put it on before bed for a couple days it seems to knock out the problem. To me, the price is well worth it. I usually buy several bottles just to keep on hand because I want it available to have on hand when I need it and finding it in the stores can be hit or miss.

So glad I found this
They want me to rate the Warmth? Lol Scalpicin is great. It’s not always easy to find. It may not be cheaper on Amazon but at least I know I can find it when I need it. I have sensitive skin and have allergic reactions to some hair products. I get itchy bumps on my scalp neck and ears.(wherever my hair hits my skin). Scalpicin is wonderful. When I can’t get into a shower or a sink to rinse out the product..I know this will alleviate the painful burning itch the majority of the time.
