Time XPRO 12 Pedals Carbon Red/Black

Big upgrade from my Look keo Carbon! Much easier to clip in too, Nice float and super light. the cleats are also surprisingly easy to walk in

Well, this is how it goes: These are the best pedals I have ever ridden, that is until one of them dropped some parts and became functionless. I was able to ride home. They are 14 months old, and I ride maybe twice a week. Once you are clipped in (with average effort) they do not let go, no matter how strong you are. They are on my recumbent bicycle. My legs must be strong because I bent the frame with leg pressure alone. I have replaced the frame under warranty and if I remember correctly I have not had a single failure to keep my foot connected to the bike. This doesn't mean they are so tight they are hard to unclip, I don't know how Time does it but they are easy to clip in, easy to clip out, yet do not become unclipped through hardcore riding. Time has a 2 year warranty but I lost the reciept so don't lose your reciept. They should last more than 14 months.

Time bio-mechanical advantage with state of the art design. Have used Time pedals for years - mtb and road. Always reliable. Always knee friendly. Always light. Positive engagement/disengagement. Able to launch violent sprints with security. Adjustable tension and Q-factor. The sale price was icing on the cake.

Pedali leggerissimi e molto belli , io gli ho tolto la carenatura e sono più aggressivi e leggeri. Si sente chiaramente che l'appoggio del piede è superiore. Si deve modificare la posizione in sella perché lo scarpino è più vicino al centro del pedale

タイムのペダル、正直マイナーです。ロード系ビンディングペダルでは恐らくスピードプレイユーザーよりも少ないでしょう。自分も購入前はタイムは候補にも上がっておらず、デュラエースにしようかアルテグラにしようか、それともスピードプレイにしようか迷っていたところでした。ただ、このXPROシリーズがリリースされ、赤黒のカッコ良さに一目惚れ、デュラエースの1.5倍する価格にも関わらず即決してしまいました。タイムのペダルはクリートをはめるのが軽く、パチンと小気味良い音がする点、踵側の可動域が広いのにクリートはしっかりホールドされている点が秀逸です。ただ、はめる時につま先側を合わせるのが、ルックやシマノよりも慣れが必要です。この点以外特に欠点はないのですが、デュラエースの1.5倍のコストのパフォーマンスはないでしょう。今まで赤でハイエンドなロード用ビンディングペダルなんてありましたか？合理的に考えたら買わないペダルです。

タイムのビンディングは緩い固定で個人的に好きで、このシリーズでも同様。機能的には満足度が高かったです。 ただ値段も高い。また、クリートが嵌めにくく、失敗するとペダルの裏のタイムのロゴがクリートにあたってタイムのロゴの塗装が簡単に剥がれます。そこだけ残念です。
