Basic, but very essential
It's about the basic of yoga, but it's not for complete beginners. When you've done yoga for a longer of shorter period, maybe you want to deepen your practise, not by learning complete new or very difficult poses, but by getting the feeling what yoga really is about. In that case this dvd might be the right one for you. Rodney Yee gives excellent and insightful instructions, and each chapter on the dvd is a step that has to be made to go to the next level, to the next chapter, to the next step, it's really systematic. Yee makes some basic poses feel like you've never felt them before. No it's not a work-out for acrobatic yoga, and no it doesn't make you sweat, and no it is not an instruction for your very first yoga lesson. It's a dvd that makes you feel what can't be said. Maybe quite something else than you're used to. Wow.

Rodney Yee is fantastic. Suddenly how to achieve balance and what is meant by core muscles and centres makes sense. Thank you thank you.

tutorial rather than workout
I usually love Rodney Yee's yoga DVDs as he is clear and down to earth. This one was more like a tutorial rather than a workout so if you are looking for a short practice to do on a regular basis, then this is not really the one to choose.
