Absoluty great value for money and a lot better on the environment by buying these top up bags. Same great flavour and a full jar from every bag with a saving. Recommened purchase!

I'm not a real coffee aficianado (nor a great fan of coffee in general) but I do like Douwe Egberts pure gold. It has a lovely aroma and a nice smooth taste. Not harsh or bitter.I bought the 6 pack for £21 (£3.50 per pack) which was a great price. It's currently selling for £34.20 ( £5.70 per pack) which is expensive. You can get the refill packs cheaper at Sainsburys (£4.50). The jars are exceedingly good value at Waitrose (currently £4.73 for a 190g jar)If the 6 pack comes down to mid twenties, i'll buy again.

Having bought a jar of this I balked at the thought of buying a jar every time so bought these as a way of saving the glass and a bit of money too although the coffee itself is a bit expensive but very tasty. The jars however are good quality for storing foodstuff but not needed in my case.

Using refills instead of buying a jar of coffee is a great idea, and space saving. I also love the flavour of the coffee; It’s more mild compared to some of the alternatives on the market.

Refill pouches just enough to fit in my kitchen coffee jar without loosing the aroma. Decent price too.

As you can see, there are six packs of 150g each one, I have used two to fill the jar of 450g, and this is how it looks like.
