i bought these 12 years ago when i started flying.
you can spend more, much more if you want only after 12 years im now upgrading these did just fine for meall that time.

AvComm AC-454 Aviation Headset
I have used this product since December 2006, it is a very rugged looking piece of equipment. However, it is very comfortable to wear for hours, I would definitely not leave home without it.
