This is “the one” (to buy 2 of lol)
Love it! Arrived within 2 days of ordering it. Mine came perfectly straight, with a rubber o-ring and tsuba (hand guard). I miss having a Saya (scabbard), but I read you can buy a golf bag tube that protects your clubs from clanking together; for about 50 cents at a golf store, cut the end and tape it to make a nice bokken Saya. This is very cool and feels nice. When I ordered it I immediately thought I should have bought a wooden one cheaper from like Trueswords or something, but once this arrived I realized I did good and made the right / best choice! The tip is mostly rounded. Still a tiny point, but nothing like the wooden ones. This just feels safer, lighter, solid and study, and looks and feels like a ultra light Katana if they existed. This looks like you can whack it against anything without breaking it. Great to use in the house. I gave this 5 stars for quality /value/ sturdiness / durability. My only regret is that I was scared to buy 2. I’d buy again. And I am not affiliated in any way. I’m just saying this thing is friggen awesome!!

Pretty nice!
It's exactly as pictured and measures correctly too. It is unfortunately a TINY bit short for my liking/for my fairly large hands, as it's about 2 inches shorter than my real katana, but it's hardly a deal breaker. It is however FAR lighter than a katana (obviously), so building strength/stamina isn't gonna be as easy with this, but this is obviously GREAT for what it's meant for, practicing forms you wouldn't feel safe using a sharpened blade with, sparring with a partner, or maybe even using it on a target you don't want to damage...or even simply using it indoors. It's VERY strong, I'd feel comfortable sparring with this for sure. In fact I think I'd have a hard time breaking it if I wanted. I also like that the tsuba is removable too

It's pretty darn cool
So I bought this because I just think it looks cool. Once I received the product and inspected it, I noticed it was slightly warped, no big deal, I didn't expect it to be perfect. The weight feels good, it doesn't feel weird holding it or swinging it. If you're a 30 year old man who missed out on sword fights as a child, this thing will scratch that itch.

A phenomenal training sword.
I purchased this sword for an upcoming belt test in which I have to do a weapons demonstration. The first one i received was slightly bent to the left but I was able to fix that in about 5 seconds by bending it in the opposite direction. The second one however was completely true. I was practicing my weapons forms in the backyard and the sword was perfectly balanced with enough weight to feel realistic. I even banged it against an apple tree without the sword sustaining any damage or bending. I was so impressed with the quality that I decided to buy a second one and keep one at the studio and one at home. One of the instructors at my studio (a third degree black belt) even said he was amazed with the quality and price. Overall, I would highly recommend this product. You won't find one of comparable quality unless you are willing to pay 3 to 5 times more money, and at this price why would you?

Better than expected!
This sword is great! It’s quite a bit lighter a wooden Bokken, which makes this great for beginners as you can get a lot more swings in and hone in on your form. The guard comes with a nice rubber piece to secure it down, would be easy to replace with another guard even with something custom for cosplay. Lastly the great price point let’s you use it without fear of damage and in all reality it holds up!

My 12yr Loved It!
I was nervous to buy something like this for my son considering how he makes use of the foam katana’s but he’s wanted something more realistic. I read all the reviews before buying. This katana is worth the $. It’s a hard plastic, very realistic except that it’s a little longer than a real one. Just know if you get socked with this, it WILL hurt, bad! This isn’t a bendy plastic for kids. I think this product is good for 12+

This is WAY better than others at 3-4x it's price
I've gone through quite a few different poly/propylene/etheline/styrine designs from several makers, and they are all about the same in terms of sturdiness, weight, durability, and so on. My son and his friends beat them up within a few weeks, the best ones last a month and a half to 2 months. This one is faaar better than the others I have, I mean like orders of magnitude. This feels like it could almost be a legit Bokken, with every metric you might evaluate being just a bit under what you'd want in a legit Bokken, which puts it FAR north of every other poly "practise"/ stage sword replica on here. For the price, it's the easiest reccomend ever.
