Hatch Restore 3 Sunrise Alarm Clock & Sound Machine, Smart Light (Cocoa)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Addition to My Nighttime Routine I’ve been using the Hatch Restore 3 for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed. The sunrise alarm makes waking up feel much more natural, and the white noise helps me fall asleep faster without reaching for my phone. I also love how simple and elegant it looks on my nightstand—it blends in perfectly with my bedroom. The setup was quick, and the app is easy to use. It’s definitely more expensive than a regular alarm clock, but the quality and features make it worth the investment. If you’re trying to improve your sleep habits or just want a more relaxing bedtime routine, I highly recommend it!

I purchased this during prime day because I wanted to get better about my sleep hygiene. I struggle to stay asleep and thought this might be helpful. First, I love the putty color. It looks nice and doesn’t look like a traditional alarm clock. Second, I am really liking the reminder to turn off devices and get ready for bed. I need that que to put down the electronics and stop. Third, audio books being read are so entertaining yet soothing. I am loving listening to the classics that I would never normally read. I like that you can adjust the volume to what works best for you. Some of the audio books are louder than others. Finally, the Navy White Noise puts me to sleep. It is soothing and peaceful. I still wake up around 3 or 4am, but I am better able to fall back to sleep. For wake up, I am still getting used to the bright light and bird sounds. It is not jarring like an alarm, which I love. What I am struggling with is actually getting out of bed when I wake. I start scrolling and then an hour goes by. I need to be more disciplined. Overall I like the change this is making in my sleep routine.

I've had the Hatch for almost a month now and it has definitely helped my sleep a lot! As someone who struggles a lot with falling asleep, I've tried a few different things that haven't worked, and the Hatch routines have already made a difference. It was very easy to customize the routine, and having the cue to help start the routine has really helped keep me on a better sleep schedule. I wish the box had come with more instructions as I've been figuring out a lot through the app & tiktok videos, but it has been quite easy to set up my custom routines once I got the hang of it. I love the amount of customizable features with the lights and sounds (as shown in the photo) and in addition to being functional, I love that it makes a cute addition to my nightstand :)

The Hatch Restore 3 is an incredible product, that has changed my nighttime routine and improved my mornings. I don’t want to include too many superlatives, but it has changed my life. The setup experience is where it all starts. After downloading the app, it was incredibly simple to put together a nighttime routine that matched my sleep goals. The hatch app asks a handful of questions (when do you want to go to sleep? Why are you looking to change your habits? Etc.) The entire setup takes less the 5 minutes and the app creates a tailored plan to help you achieve your goals. Once setup, you’re off to (sleep) races. It’s easy to navigate from the wind down phase of your plan to the sleep portion by easily tapping the button on top of the speaker. My plan included first a reading light (since I wanted to spend more time reading before bed) and then 8 hours of “Malibu Ocean”. The sound on the device is crisp and soothing, and it’s easy to quickly adjust the sound by turning the same button on top. I’ve also played a few of the wind down stories (hound of the Baskerville!) and the sound quality is too notch. The reading light is easily adjustable via the Hatch app as well. There’s a few options for reading lights - or you can adjust to any number of different colors with a couple of button taps. I’ve moved my lamp off my bedside table because I much prefer the reading light in the Hatch 3. The clock works well too - because it’s connected to your device there’s no changing time for daylight savings etc. It’s also super easy to choose when you want the clock to display and when you want to hide it. Bottom line - I was skeptical that this was the device that could get me to move my phone to another room at night. I was wrong. I’m feeling more rested then ever, I’ve been freed from my nighttime doom scroll and instead have started reading, and I’m getting up on time and ready to face the day. 5 stars - I’m gonna need another one for my husband’s side of the bed too.

As I am making a major effort to really pay attention to my sleep quality, I purchased this clock after being recommended by a friend and I am very pleased - I truly did not think it would make as much of an impact on my sleep quality as it has. I waited a month to write this review and can share my honest thoughts: Pros: -I love the minimalism and appearance of the device itself. It is not an eyesore; the colors are soothing and the display is easy to read. The one button interface is also quite easy to use first thing in the morning - the sound library is extensive, and there are so many options to choose from. Think spa/soothing music as well as relaxing nature sounds - the sound quality of the speaker itself is impressive. It really transforms my entire room into a much cozier environment. - setting up a routine is a very handy way to both ease into sleep and ease into the morning. My old iPhone alarm was stressful and annoying and this takes a much more serene, gradual approach. Also offers many options for how to wake up (on a specific minute, over a period of time, etc) so it is flexible to each person’s needs Cons: -the app interface and instructions could use a little work in terms of getting started out of the box (understanding how routines work, what the buttons do). But the support team is extremely responsive and helped me through this very clearly, and once you figure it out using it is a breeze -some of the sounds in the library are a little ridiculous (there is a stand up routine option? Doesn’t really affect the product I just can’t imagine who would use that lol) All in all this is such a game changer for my sleep. I feel like I can fall asleep so much easier, and it helps redirect my distracted mind which I often find racing at night. Super recommend this to anyone looking to improve their sleep hygiene!

I seriously had no idea how much I would love this thing! I generally don't have trouble falling asleep (like, my watch says my average time to fall asleep is literally 1 minute 😂), but I DO struggle to get into bed. And I had no idea how much the Hatch would help with that. I have a set time that it will go off, lighting up my room with sunset lights and soothing music to encourage me to get in there and wind down. I spend that time journaling and praying, and then when I'm ready, I press a button, and it starts my night routine. I get to listen to one of my favorite comfort books for a short window (and it will let me know what I missed from yesterday at the beginning in case I fell asleep during the story, which is a huge plus lol), and then it supports my sleep with comforting campfire sounds (my choice, but there are tons of sounds to choose from). And then the wakeup alarm is BEAUTIFUL! It slowly lights up my room like a sunrise at whatever time I choose, and then when I actually set it to wake me up, I get eased awake with soft music, breathing exercises, pump-up jams, or whatever I choose. It seriously has eased stress and helped me get into a way better routine. The setup is simple (but take the questions about your sleep seriously because I haven't found a way to go back and change those) and fast. It does have to be plugged into the wall to work, but that's not an issue because it's completely eliminated my need to have my phone in my room! My phone now charges in my kitchen overnight, and I get some peaceful, uninterrupted time to myself each night and morning. It's seriously great. The app interface is a little clunky and hard to navigate sometimes, but you figure it out, and I'm sure that'll be improved soon. But the Hatch itself is so nice to have!

I have had my Hatch Restore for about 2 weeks now and I'm enjoying it! Learning how to create or set your sleep and wake patterns was a little difficult but got easier the more I played around with it. I find myself putting down my phone at night and letting this device help me relax and fall asleep. There are a lot of options and ways to customize your sleep and wake patterns. So far, so good!!

I absolutely love the Hatch Restore 3! I wasn’t sure it would be worth the investment, but after using it for a few weeks, I can honestly say it’s become part of my nightly routine. The sunset feature helps me wind down naturally, and waking up to a gradual sunrise is so much better than being jolted awake by a loud alarm. The sound quality is excellent, and there are so many relaxing sleep sounds and guided wind-down options to choose from. The app is intuitive, making it easy to customize different bedtime and morning routines. It also looks beautiful on my nightstand—minimalistic and modern without taking up much space. If you’re looking to improve your sleep habits or make waking up feel less stressful, I highly recommend the Hatch Restore 3. It’s one of those products I didn’t realize I needed until I had it!

Very disappointing. The hardware is good but the app is unusable. There is a lot of potential in this product but they will only realise it when they throw out the current app and rebuild it with ease of use and flexibility in mind. Honestly this industry is begging for a competitor to come in and show us how this can be done well. Unfortunately Hatch is not that (yet? 🤞). I'd love to return my Hatch 3 and wait for that competitor, maybe they never come but this $200 disappointment is not bringing me any joy.

Amazing product

Love this clock. It has made my morning wake up so much smoother, no jarring alarm. The ability to customize the length of the sunrise allows me to just look and see if it’s begun to know if I should go back to sleep. It facilitates habits of waking up at the same time. I have no complaints
