The knife was delivered on-time, complete, as described by the seller and nicely packaged in a gift box containing the folding knife, a hard-shell zippered case, a cleaning cloth and a product information card. The knife is finely crafted with a textured G10 fiberglass grip and a solid feel to it; there is a sturdy, metal belt clip on one side. The blade is spring-loaded and requires both hands and some force to open/close, there are dΓ©tente positions at 90 and 180 degrees. I did find the thumbnail slot useful for opening the blade which is finely honed and is very sharp; it should be handled with care. There is no blade locking mechanism (for either open or closed positions) and the blade is held securely in place by the strength of the backbone spring.
