My Husband got this for me as a surprise for my Birthday and I could not be happier with it. You can't beat this for the money. I am new to urban exploration and this is exactly what I was looking for. Yes, the tripod is a little light but I don't want to be lugging a heavy piece of equipment around and I have not had a problem with it tipping. I use it with my new Nikon L830 and have not had any issues. The rechargeable batteries are great. I have not ran them down yet so I can't say how long they last, but I will come back and update after a few recharges. If you are just getting into photography or do it as a hobby, this is the perfect set up.

my son recently got a Nikon camera for school for a class, i bought him this kit to go with it and let me say they did a good job in putting in what was needed in one kit, he uses everything in it, good job Xtech. they have a smaller kit that is also good but if you know my son he is extreme in every project he is given so this one made sense, if you got a Nikon L840 i recommend this kitDavid......New Mexico

I recently Purchased the Nikon Coolpix L330 at a retail store and wanted first class accessories.This item is perfect for my needs, All the items except for the tripod fit easily into the case, including the camera I bought separately.

Mostly tinker toy quality. If you sneeze the tripod will fall apart…;-(The camera case has no padding at all and only one compartment so everything has to be bunched together in the one compartment.As for the rest of the items I didn't really need them so the poor quality of the main items ruined this purchase.
