I ordered this and it arrived quickly. It looks a lot like a tube of mascara. I tried it and application was simple and easy, and indeed just like applying mascara to my eyelashes, but to strands and sections of hair instead. The color was perfect and the product covered my grays well. It didn't clump or harden up which is nice. I washed my hair and it did completely wash out, which was fine with me because I don't want anything semipermanent. Overall, I really do like this product but don't know how long this small tube will last considering I don't have super short beard length hair, and that the tube is quite small.

I've used other root touch up products but they have all been sprays. This is the first I've used with a mascara brush application.This touch up covers gray hair quite well. I ordered this in dark brown which is a tad darker than I expected but still works well my hair.The mascara brush takes a little longer to apply then the sprays I've used. It makes application tedious but it's also easy to target the areas needed the most.The biggest reason I dropped the rating on this is I don't like the way it makes my hair feel. It makes it feel like something is caked on it and feels a bit heavy. I comb through it after it dries to help that feeling. However, this being water resistant, it does stay on my hair all day even when I comb through it.The only other drawback I could find with this is it's a little pricey for me to want to use again. It's the size of a mascara tube and I would be fine spending $25 on it but almost $40 seems a little on the high side.
