Not Built to Last
A friend gave me this chair/seat she found at a thrift store. It lasted for 2 years and I loved it. After 2 years of daily use, the leather did give out at the metal grommet. I planned to take to a leather shop to have a new seat made but my husband suggested to just buy a second chair for a spare. I found I was so excited to find it so easily. After purchase, this chair lasted one month before the seat came apart. Very disappointing. Nothing is built to last anymore, yet the cost continues to increase.

It is pretty heavy for a back pack
It is pretty heavy for a back pack, but it does fit in mine and I recently took it plein air painting. The leather digs into my legs. I am a 130# lady. I have used another brand similar to this that is much lighter, has a larger, thicker leather seat, and does not dig. Wish I could find another like that.
