I seldom write a review but this item deserves a high recommendation. These are very heavy duty brackets. Each leg is 6" long, 1.5" wide and 1/8" thick so on the inside of bracket you have about a 5 7/8" long leg. Each bracket weighs 15 ounces. It comes with 8 screws that are 2 1/4" long and 8 that are 1" long. They are very heavy duty screws too, thicker than the #8 screws I had. I had to use a larger screwdriver bit in my drill than I usually do. I'm using 4 brackets over a 13' span with a 2 x 8 shelf for books. I don't have any books on the shelf yet but I may could have got by with 3 brackets. I initially thought I may need more than 4 brackets for this project so I bought 2 sets so I have one set I won't be using - at least for now. I didn't realize that brackets cost so much. All the brackets I looked at seemed high but these were priced less than any others I found so comparatively, they were actually a good price. Also, the packaging is top notch. They aren't just thrown in a bag. They come in a sturdy box with 2" thick styrofoam with cutouts for each bracket and a cutout for the packet of screws. Top notch all the way through. This is an unsolicited review. I paid full price for these and I received nothing in return. I just wanted to take the time to right a review for this excellent product.

I got these to help stabilize very large floating shelves. The townhouse I live in has horrible wall studs, so anything that needs to be supported must have drywall anchors. The problem with the set of shelves I got was that they were so large that even with very long screws and using drywall anchors on the frame that attaches to the wall and holds the shelves themselves, they still would fall when something was put on them.These are very heavy duty and come with two sets of screws. Longer ones to go in the wall, and shorter ones to attach to the underside of a shelf, should you want to. The only drawback is that they are sold only in a pack of four and do not come with drywall anchors. So if you have a situation like mine where you need anchors (and these are very heavy so chances are you will need them) you need to buy some if you do not have any on hand. Once you get them up however, they are very sturdy. I definitely recommend them.

These are heavy duty brackets. They were delivered fast. They were easy to install. I used them for shelves where I wanted a rustic look.

The brackets came in a nice box along with various size screws.

Fabulous quality.....would definitely buy again. Very heavy duty and beautiful finish. Only Wish they would have come with dry wall hardware. We had to use other screws because we couldn't find drywall hardware large enough for the large screws that came with. That is the only reason for 4 stars

These are very well made, thick brackets. I used on corners of a farmhouse table I built but I think these could hold a lot of weight if used with shelving. Also, they were well packaged between soft styrofoam so they didn’t get all scratched up!

These brackets were perfect for my bookshelf DIY project. I used three brackets to hold up a wooden shelf in my room. The dimensions of the wooden shelf is 40" x 8" x 0.74". I didn't use the screws provided as I had my own but I have saved them for a later time. They were easy to install. I drilled them into the studs. I didn't check if they were perfect right angles however the brackets had some leeway, therefore when I drilled them into the wall and onto the board they snapped into place.

This solid 30lb beam wasn’t going to be supported by just pegs...love these L brackets that were expertly packaged and came with 2 lengths of screws which I used both of. I couldn’t be happier. It’s not offended something is better than I expected online...these brackets put my mind at ease and made me very happy.
