Terrific Book
I've been keen on Arthurian Literature lately and wanted to know more about it. Until I found this book I hadn't seen one that covered what I wanted. As far as I'm concerned this is the best book on Arthurian Literature there is.Please note however:VERY SMALL TYPE. It's seven or eight point type.I'm referring to the paperback edition. I don't know if the hardcover is the same.

Kinda makes me sad that someone took what must have been a life ...
more information than anyone really needs on the subject. Kinda makes me sad that someone took what must have been a life time to map out all the intricacies, layers, and webs of this 1500 year old tradition...but thanks. It is an invaluable resource for Arturiana geeks (esp. for those who--ah, like me, to be honest--think they already know it pretty well).

Excellent resource
Great resource. Has already led me to other works I want to read. Well written and comprehensive.

Excellent reference but VERY tiny print!
This book is an excellent reference and should be on the shelf of every lover of Arthuriana. That said, the print is extremely small and the contrast isn't great due to the use of newsprint-like paper, which isn't white.

Excelent. I have been studying King Arthur for Masters and the book is complete and it's a wonderful helping.
