I love that it’s non greasy, has a slight rose fragrance, and has lasting natural looking hold. Product washes out easy too.

Definitely one of the better products available for straight, fine hair in my opinion. You only need to use a very small amount to achieve good results. Can also use it well combined with a stickier matte paste and hairspray if needed. The very natural earthy smell is great if you don't prefer the many typical overly scented products. This also washes off hands easily and meshes well for "day 2" hairstyles by adding dry shampoo spray on fine hair. Very adaptable product!

I used this product for the first time the other day and I love it! I have a disconnected undercut with 4-5" long hair that I typically slick back. This product went in smoothly and styled my hair perfectly! My only complaint was that after it being in my hair 12-14 hours it completely lost hold...but anything longer than 12 hours hold is tough! I will totally be buying this again!

I used to use Old spice messy paste and this is an amazing substitute after they stopped manufacturing it

I really like Monarch matte paste by Bluemaan. It’s super creamy, scoops out really easy, applies even easier with no grip or pull (applying to towel dried hair), has some good responsiveness to style into place, builds in great texture, has a decent hold and finishes on the matte/natural side. It also washes out no problem. About the scent that seems to get a lot of negative reviews...I actually really like it and was worried based on the reviews. It is a fresh herbal smell with light floral notes and is definitely unique as it is unisex. The scent is light though and while you do get hints of it after you put it in your hair it is not over powering or as strong as others have stated by any stretch of the imagination. I have short, wavy, wiry, bushy hair. I prestyle with Aveda thickening tonic and apply this matte paste to towel dried hair and style into place. I think Shear Revival Northern Lights and Arcadian are slightly better in that they provide better volume without having to blow dry and have firmer hold, but this is really good too. I recommend!

I love using this stuff, however, the new square design needs to be revisited. It’s extremely inefficient cause the sharp corners cannot be grabbed. Whoever let the intern make these design changes needs to rethink their product and how it’s used.

I have a love hate thing for this product. It’s the best thing I’ve used for my hair in terms of hold, matte finish and ease of use but the smell is STRONG. It’s not a bad smell but it’s not a pleasant smell either, it’s like a cross between the scent of a salon and drywall putty. That’s the only downside to this paste. I try to use as little as possible when I use it to keep from having the smell linger throughout the day. I have tried numerous other hair products throughout the years and this is the best paste on the market in my opinion. I hope they consider doing about the smell in the future though. I only recommend if you’re not sensitive to strong smelling hair products.

One of the best hair products I've used. It cleans off very easily and leaves almost no residue. It works especially well on think hair that has no volume as it is extremely lightweight. The only drawback is it isn't as strong as other options but it is a very balanced well designed product. Worth a try!

Ich persönlich halte das Produkt für sehr gelungen. Die Blumaan Monarch Matte Paste kommt in einer sehr ansehnlichen Verpackung daher, wie es für die Blumaan Produkte üblich ist. Nun zum Inhalt, die Matte Paste hat eine eher cremige Konsistenz und lässt sich dadurch sehr gut zwischen den Händen verteilen. Ist es einmal in den Händen verrieben, kommt der erste Schock. Denn zwischen den Händen ist es komplett weiß, wird jedoch transparent sobald man es in den Haaren verteilt. Je nach Menge der entnommenen Matte Paste lässt sich die Textur in den Haaten bestimmen. Ich selbst bin ein Freund davon, tendenziell weniger zu benutzen, was dazu führt, dass man nicht bemerkt ein Produkt in den Haaren zu haben. Damit will ich sagen, dass das Produkt sehr leicht ist und sich entsprechend auch für voluminöse Styles eignet. Zudem sieht das Finish in den Haaren sehr natürlich aus und hält den ganzen Tag, auch kann man sich hin und wieder mit den Händen durch die Haare fahren und so seine Frisur jederzeit remodellieren. Auch das auswaschen ist kein Problem, zumindest nicht wenn man normales Shampoo benutzt. Ich kann die bisherigen Rezensionen, welche zumeist negativ ausfallen, nicht verstehen. Zum einen widersprechen sich die Aussagen in Bezug auf den Halt, zum anderen wird der Geruch kritisiert. Ich selbst mag den Geruch des Produkts, was jedoch reine geschmackssache ist. Objektiv ist der Geruch jedoch nicht sehr stark ausgeprägt und übersteigt defintiv nicht den Geruch eines Parfums oder Cologne, wie beschrieben. Jeder der weiß, was er von einem Styling-Produkt erwartet, wird mit der Monarch Matte Paste sein Glück finden. Wer jedoch einen festeren Halt sucht, oder ein anderes Finish, sollte sich vielleicht nach einem Clay oder Heavy Clay umsehen und nicht ein Produkt schlecht machen, was für seine Haare oder Frisur eher ungeeignet ist. Zudem kann die Matte Paste auch mit einem Pre-Styler kombiniert werden, was ebenfalls für einen noch stärkeren halt sorgt. Alles in allem bin ich mit dem Produkt sehr zufrieden und würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen!
