This had plenty of power to turn over the engine on my '02 Tundra. The engine started (then died) twice, and then this starter was done. The instructions say not to crank it for more than 30 seconds, but this was more like 3 seconds, twice. After checking under the hood (@@@@@@@@@@ won't mention what I found there...) I tried once more before disconnecting the battery. It gave me another "start" but was then done. When I say "done" I mean that it just stops doing anything. It doesn't get weaker, it just quits.Back to the beginning. I charged this up nearly two weeks ago, and it's maintained a 100% charge (according to its readout) since that time. When I brought it back in today, it showed 88% charge remaining. I think it needs a good long rest between start attempts.It seems to me that if you had this for an emergency start, say your battery was dying, and just giving you a weak turn over, it would probably work great. If your vehicle is a hard start though, this is probably not going to get the job done.Other features: it has a light. This is about the intensity, and directionality, of your dome light. It's not particularly bright, nor is it a beam. It's definitely an emergency sort of light and not something you'd likely use aside from an emergency, but it would be sufficient to find your battery terminals in the dark.USB power bank / charger. Being a large battery, this can also be used to run or charge other USB devices, like your phone or Kindle. I haven't used it extensively for this, but I did test the functionality and it does work.All told I think this is a decent emergency starter if your vehicle doesn't require a lot of cranking to turn over. It seems to have plenty of current, but a pretty short cycle time. As a backup USB battery / charger it seems like a winner.

What an absolute beast of a jump starter. It is absolutely powerful and can start any truck, SUV, or car no matter the size. I have a F-350 and it's battery died in the hot summer heat. I hooked up this jump starter to it and it fired up on the first try. Just unbelievable, I usually never carry these things because most of these jump starters don't have enough juice to fire up a large diesel truck like mine. I usually would have to call my buddies and hook up my truck to theirs to be able to jump start. But now that I have this, I no longer have to depend on other people to help me out of a tough situation. And your truck always dies when you least expect it to, so it is always necessary to carry one of these. But I been putting it off for years because I could never find one big enough with enough power to jump start a dual battery system like in my F-350 that requires a lot of juice to fire up. And the big ones that are powerful enough are very expensive, not until I found this one. It comes with a cable to charge it and very sturdy heavy duty clamps to clamp onto your car battery. The great thing is that the entire clamp is made of strong plastic so that there's no chance it'll touch the other clamp to create a short.

Update:I used this for a jump finally and it was able to jump my niece's 4 cylinder car with no issues. One irritation was the clips are of poor/cheap design so they kept falling apart trying to get them nicely clipped onto the battery posts/cables. It was pretty frustrating, but I was able to fix it to the multiple times it came undone. The case is pretty handy. I stand by my previous view, but will upgrade a star because it came in handy when I needed it.Original review:I was excited to get a battery pack backup to have on hand for jumping my car if the need were to arise. I grabbed this in case of emergencies. When I got the package, I almost wondered if it was missing the battery it was so light. I opened it up and sure enough it was there. I was surprised with how light it was. I grabbed the battery my kids use to charge their electronics on the go. It feels heavy, as I would expect. This battery is extremely light. I scoured the item and documentation for the size of the battery and it is extremely small. Photo attached with the main value which seems to equate to a decent phone battery. I would expect much more.I did a little poking around Amazon and there are much better battery jumper options to be had for 1/3 the price. Per the other reviews, I am sure it might jump my car once before needing a recharge, but for the price alone this item is ridiculous. This item is nothing special, make sure to do your research (as I did not) before considering this item. The fact that this listing doesn't include the mah (milliampere-hour) rating should consider this borderline fraud. This might give someone a reasonable way to compare their product to others to realize this is a terrible deal.

I haven't used this yet but the build quality it's strong at all. I can't wait to test this on something to see if it will put out the power that it says it has.

This unit took no time to come to a full 100% charge right out of the box. I then turned around and charged my phone, my watch, and my laptop batteries to 100%. Charged the unit again, even though it was no where near to being low, and charged my rechargeable AA batteries - 6 of them! It charges fast. It charges consistently. I haven't needed to use the car battery function, but based on everything I did today - I have no doubt it will perform. I love that everything fits in the carry case. I can charge USB standard and USB C cords. I like the spacious carry case, I tucked an extra charge cord for all the different chargers we typically use. Well thought out and easy to use. Gillaway has a great product and this would make a great gift for a new driver!

Came home from vacation and my car needed a jump. Hooked this up (it was charged to 93% upon arrival, very much appreciated!) and it instantly gave me the boost I needed. The state of charge dropped to 49%, so I wouldn't trust this to work twice, however.Also, that carrying case is WAY bigger than it needs to be, which means this thing takes up a bunch more room in the trunk than it needs to. I will be moving the charger and its cables to a drawstring pouch that takes up, literally, half as much volume. The case looks like it was repurposed from a much larger unit.
