SOYOND 150w Power Inverter DC 12v to 110v AC Converter with 3.1A Dual USB Car Charger Adapter

Use this mostly for the convenience of the USB ports and for charging my drill batteries on the drive to and from jobs. Works great for that, no complaints! Very nice to have USB charging cables now, my car was so old it doesn't have any at all.The cable is honestly a bit short, my vehicles 12v is on the ground of the vehicle so it sort of just sits on the floor but it has worked fine for me.Noise level is meh, you can hear the fan if your car is completely quiet but the noise tends to fall away if you are on the highway or listening to music/podcasts.

I bought this to keep my laptop charged in the car during use on a 16 hour road trip. It was so convenient and worked as if my charger were plugged into the wall socket at home! Great service through Amazon, I had it shipped to the hotel where I was staying, just before I left to go home. Very please with this purchase!

This is a nice little Inverter. Works as stated, but i was mostly impressed with the size, which is about 50% of what I was using previously (which also didn't have the 2 USB charge ports). I run a external media player in the car for the kids to watch movie in the back. Media player draws power form the plug, with my phone charging simultaneously. Fan is quiet.

I ordered this because I'm too cheap to buy the mobile charger for my digital camera and wanted a way to charge the battery after a day of shooting while traveling to my next site.To start with I did not use this in its stock configuration. The first thing I did was disassemble the case and remove the plug. I found a spot I liked in my car and cut a hole the size of the plug and installed the plug into it. I then extended the wires to install the inverter box to a remote location. I also removed the main power supply adapter and ran it directly to my fuse block.I knocked the overall rating down for 2 reasons. The first is this is a power inverter and consumes a lot of power from the car. Its got good heavy gauge wires for the accessory port plug, unfortunately modern cars do not have the same heavy wiring to the port. Most run 22-24 gauge wires which could easily be over heated by using a device like this and I found no warnings of this issue. The second issue I had was the wire going to the 110 volt outlet was 24 gauge stranded wire. I'm okay with one or the other but the combination of both could once again lead to over heating issues.I find that people see an outlet and don't give much thought to the power consumption of the device they are plugging into it, an outlet is an outlet right?! The case does list its limitations but none of the paperwork gives examples and unless electricity is something you work with on a regular basis you aren't going to know what those numbers mean or how to convert them to useable information.

I was worried this would make tons of noise, overheat, or otherwise be a problem, but it was the perfect solution.I can now charge my laptop in the car on the go. It's funny, I previously had a specialized car charger for laptops only (meaning, the adpater would run from the cigarette lighter into the computer, without an AC plug). But it constantly blew the fuse, which was a hassle. I've had no such issues with this one. Great product.

A This thing is seriously AWESOME!!!🤩🤩I was pleasantly surprised to find that this unit can run my Dyson vacuum to clean my car. The cables that come with it that go to the battery are the best I have ever seen in a product in this price scale. Real copper, and was able to handle the draw while running the vacuum!!!😀😀 My hubby keeps stealing it out of my car!!😜. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Purchased this item even though it was about 40% more expensive than a similar unit because the item description explicitly said "3.1A Dual USB ports". Neither USB can output 3.1A as it has one 2.1A and one 1.0A USB port. The 3.1A number is cumulative which is purposefully misleading IMO.Other than that it works okay. It gets a little warm other than that it's working fine.

Plug in for electric doesn’t work. The two usb chargers have been great.
