Description
- Distinct Excellent Tasting Blueberry
- The price includes Four (4) "Palmetto" Southern Highbush Blueberry Plants. These are 2 inch rooted plants shipped in 2 inch tray pots and are 3-6 inches tall.
- Palmetto is a University of Georgia Patented plant that produces a distinct sweet tasting blueberry. This plant is a must for Georgians! Palmetto has a deeper aroma tasting blueberry over other varieties that are mildly sweet or sugary sweet.
- Most all edible plants grow well in Full Sun but a little shade won’t hurt. Blueberry Plants need to be planted in acidic soil/low pH 5.5-6.4. I recommend 60%-80% Pine Mulch/20-40% Peat. As your plant gets bigger you can change the ratio to more Pine Mulch up to 100%.

Palmetto is a University of Georgia Patented plant that produces a distinct sweet tasting blueberry. This plant is a must for Georgians! Palmetto has a deeper aroma tasting blueberry over other varieties that are mildly sweet or sugary sweet. In the eastern part of the country Palmetto is geared toward N. Florida/Georgia/Carolina region, but will fruit in Central Florida (zone 5-9a/chill hrs. 350-500). The berries are large to very large. Palmetto is vigorous and upright growth habit, verses some plants that are more busy. Palmetto is above average when it comes to disease resistance, but I always recommend an organic regiment of fungicides, soil additives and pest control.
