Quality cotton yarn, not splitty. Good stitch definition. Made a wonderful summer bag and market bag. Will buy in other colors. Also made a jacket in the red.

When I was looking at the comments, I didn’t know what to expect but now that I have it it’s soft it’s cotton. I don’t understand what people want it to be, but it’s perfect for cotton projects and you can always block it after you finish your project or steam it beforehand if it’s not soft enough for you the weight is perfect. I know it’s gonna work up very well because I’m gonna use it for loofah and it’s a perfect yarn size so I would definitely recommend it. Don’t listen to the comments some people expect a miracle from everything it’s five dollars and it’s a really good buy for five dollars. You get three whole skiens of yarn. I’m super excited about it and think about it. I’ve just bought it because to add onto the free Amazon shipping well my daughter did but still.

This is a DK weight chainette cotton yarn as described. I can see the yarn being very absorbent however the label describes it as being used for bags. Given the rougher texture I believe this would in fact be best for market bags, maybe head bands or other accessories not touching skin, rather than basically any other project. This is not a bad yarn but lacks versatility in its use. The color is rich but the chainette style does make it scratchy.

I’m still on my journey of learning, and I recently discovered something wonderful! I wanted a 100% cotton yarn, and while it might not be as soft as acrylic, the quality is fantastic! It’s so easy to use, and if I ever make a mistake, it untangles effortlessly. The color selection is absolutely dazzling, and I love that I got three bundles! The size is just perfect, and the best part? This cotton yarn is so affordable! Some colors were as low as $3.99, which is what initially drew me in, but the quality of the yarn made me come back for two more colors. I’m truly delighted with this yarn!

While this Lemon Green is true to color, it is not a plied yearn. It is a braided yarn so it is rounder and thicker than a plied yarn. Because it is 50% cotton and 50% polyester I have concerns over how it is going to look after it is washed. For the price I will keep it and hope for the best. I will use this yarn to teach a 12 yo gal how to crochet. (I just don't want her first creation ruined as a result of washing it if the cotton was not pre-shrunk. Maybe the braiding vs. plying will help there - I'm not sure.)

Not as soft as I would have liked but color is good.

This is my first negative review. I'm hoping to save others from making the same mistake I made. This yarn is very rough and stiff. It is like thin kitchen twine, only stiffer. I can't return it because I started a project with it but very quickly saw it would be awful to work with. I'm guessing I'll make a market bag out of it which I don't need but there is nothing else this would be good for.

Dollarama sells same type of cotton for $1.50 per ball of 3.5 ounces. Much too thin, not at all what I expected! 😭 will keep it for string!!! Would NOT BUY AGAIN
