This is a botanist dream hot cream for sore muscles. Memorize the ingredients to this along with the scientific names and you're on your way to being a herbalist.It says to do a small test on your skin to make sure you're not allergic to it. People assume that if it has botanicals that they are so natural your skin will not react. I tried it out and there were no impacts at all. It did give me some relief on a sore shoulder. I shall continue to use it.

I am not usually inclined to be tough on reviews but I bought this cream to see if the heat would be strong enough for my mother in law who has cold feet and hands year round and lives in an area that has bitterly cold weather. There was no heat whatsoever. The cream was not greasy and left my hands soft but there wasn't even a tingle. I thought since i have different skin and system that I would have my husband try it since his skin is the same type as his mom. No dice. He felt nothing. We covered our hands we felt no difference. We rubbed our hands together and nothing. I would not recommend this for the heat or muscle soreness. It does a good job of making the skin soft. The smell is mild not bad.

It's not greasy but it is a little soupy, and it doesn't get as hot as I hoped it would. Smells ok, I like the looks of the jar so I can just leave it out on my headboard with out it looking like medicine. Not sure if it helped my arm or not as I fell asleep, I believe it took away the throbbing so I guess it worked but not like icy hot, I would recommend if you have a light pain but anything more painful I would say something else.

Those who claim it doesn't provide heat don't grasp its mechanism. Initially, it offers a cooling sensation thanks to the menthol. I applied it to my sore knee overnight, and the following morning, my knee was noticeably less stiff and less painful compared to when I don't use it.

If I apply every several hours, my very sore/muscle strained back allows me to continue moving about without ongoing pain. I must continue to sit straight and also learned to pull in my tummy so the back is supporting the "Thanksgiving turkey." Seriously, this product is very good and I recommend. Pulled my back when at age 79 I was trying to lift 3/4 ply onto windows for hurricane preparation. Not so smart.
