Just what I needed, but now I’m in search of the perfect mugs to fit!
Easy to install with a torx socket set (which if you own a Jeep, you need to buy!) Fits perfectly in my YJ. Yes they are plastic, but look to be pretty durable. I run topless, so I prefer this to something that will get wet & rust. Wanted to go with these instead of a console because running topless, I don’t want a console to get ruined in any unexpected rain storms… plus I worry about rust forming under a console. So… these are PERFECT! My only issue is finding a mug that fits perfectly. My 20oz Yeti sat loosely in the top section, bounced around a bit, but did ok (I turned the spout toward the window so it wouldn’t spill). A lid that slides shut would be better. This is still a much better solution than holding a drink in my lap… The large Sonic cup in the picture did fit through the bottom section, but didn’t sit all the way down in the holder. It did sit tightly in the holder which was excellent. No spills with a full drink with the lid on. The best fit of the 3. I’m in search of a mug this exact size. The last pic is a 16oz mug that I had in my cabinet made my Sweda. It fits all the way down to the bottom, but is loose. I haven’t used this while driving, but it looks like it’d work just fine. I’ll update when I find the perfect mug 😁

Perfect
Love this for my 94 yj. It won’t fit a full-size yeti but it’s great for the morning coffee or the random fast food cup. I don’t have any cup holders in my Jeep at all, this is exactly what I needed. Yes it’s made of plastic but it still works great. It fits well in the dead space between he dash and door.

Great for half door jeep YJ
I bought a pair of these for my 1993 jeep wrangler and thier install was super easy and they fit great with half doors but touch full doors and you wont be able to sue the window vent if you have full doors. they seemed flimsy at first but are actually very strong for being plastic.

Good, could be better.
Facts: This is made of plastic, not metal like it sort of looks in the picture It attaches to the dash via two bolts, not three like it looks in the picture. A standard plastic soda bottle will not fit all the way to the bottom, nor will any of the larger energy drink cans. Standard aluminum soda cans will, as well as some of the tapered cups from fast food restaurants. Likes: It is a good location for a cup as that space in the jeep is not used, and it does not interfere with the door closing. As noted above, some large plastic cups fit well in this and the ones I use are very snug. Dislikes: As noted above, the design limits what drinks will fit securely, and though out of the way, the position of the holder means that an unsecured drink has the potential for spilling all over you. Final note: One commentator noted that he expected the "cheap" plastic design to break soon. I have had mine in a while with full 44 oz drinks in it and though it bent down some, it has yet to break or even look like it is stressed much... Also, I have edited this review and moved my star rating down to three as I am finding less and less cups and cans that will fit the shape of this cup holder. If I had to do it over, I would most likely not purchase it again.

Holds the lattes while mowing.
I have an old Ford 8N tractor that drives me to drink. I use it to cut the grass in the back 40 with a jank old New Holland finish mower. If you’ve ever tried to keep a 75 year old tractor in a straight line after a few wobble pops in you, then you’ll know it’s important to have both hands on the wheel. That’s where this cup holder comes in to play. It mounted right to the fender and holds a “soda” perfectly. No spills, no messes, and fewer stops for “man down” incidents. I know some of you will poopoo the idea of some poor chump out in the sunshine cutting grass without air conditioning or factory cup holders, but old Henry Ford didn’t think about these tractors being in service 75 years later and their drivers needing a place to put their Busch Lattes. It’s held up for more than a year and shows no signs of backing down, and I’m not very nice to the tractor. It sits outside in the sun and rain and snow. Outstanding product.

Plastic
If you are a jeep person you know you are looking for something strong and rugged. This may look like it will hold up but it does not. It didn’t last a month, and we could tell the first time we put a cup in it that it was a matter of time before the plastic snapped. I found an awesome metal one on Etsy that is worth the extra $$. Don’t waste your money!

Works just fine!
I wasn’t sure about ordering after some of the reviews, but I went ahead and ordered it anyway and I have nothing bad to say. Looks like metal, but it is plastic (just like the description reads) and it works just fine. I ordered a second one for the passenger side.

Excellent for price
For $15 you cant go wrong. Bolts right up easy on my YJ. Can fit pretty large cups. They are made of plastic even thought they look like they might be metal in the picture but no big deal at all. Definitely recommend

Happy with these
Arrived early and installed them the same day. Roads are rough here so my drink bounces around. If it could have been a bit stiffer for heavier yeti cup holder it would get a 5 star. I would order again. Exactly what I wanted
